I stayed here in a private room as a solo female for 3 nights. The riad is very traditional with beautiful furnishings and colours. Jawad and syed were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Finding the riad can be quite tricky first time but they will come and meet you. Free tea and cake was a bonus... More

Read Layla Rouge is a fantastic hostel with great facilities, staff and location. We arrived late at night having taken a taxi from the airport and weaving our way through many passageways before reaching the hostel. We were greeted with a pot of tea and biscuits, given a quick run down of what to see and do in Marrakech and... More

I stayed here for a few nights as part of a lengthy backpacking trip. Overall, definitely stay here! It has all the reasonable creature comforts, a setting that's very conducive for socializing, and fairly priced rooms - here's what you need to know: Pros: -Very comfortable beds with thick wool blankets. You'll sleep great. -Absolutely fantastic rooftop with great views... More

We really enjoyed Riad Layla Rouge. The staff was extremely helpful, funny and friendly, we got everything we wanted and even more. The rooms are clean and cosy, the terrace is one of the most beautiful places in whole Marrakesh with the view on the city and Atlas mountains. The breakfast was rich and tasteful and Ali makes the best... More

Absolutely perfect stay, the Riad is located close to the main square and is easy to find your way back to. Once you get inside it is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, the staff are incredible and always so happy to help. We stayed in a suite which was very spacious and the shower was huge with constant hot water... More

Came here last year with my girlfriend. We were only supposed to use layla rouge as a stop off point for one night before venturing down to Tagazhout but as that was a disaster, we came back up to layla rouge to stay for a week! Breakfast was included in the price, which was great and Abdul was a perfect... More

If Sayd doesn't become your favourite person ever in the first 5 seconds of meeting him, there is something wrong with you. My stay at Riad Layla was perfection. Not only is the Riad beautifully decorated and in a perfect location, the staff are what really make it the best. I have always been a little sceptical of people who... More

Magnificent riad hostel with lovely staff. Mohamed and Said couldn't have done enough for us during our stay and were genuinely sound and sociable guys. They were always quick to make us a pot of mint tea, breakfast was prompt and the lads were full of useful advice. For £9 a night you could never complain! I met some fantastic... More
