Stayed for four nights at the beginning of November and can say it is probably one of the best hostels that I have ever stayed at. The Riad was beautifully decorated and felt very authentic. It was clean, tidy and always felt like home at the end of a busy day getting lost in the Souks. Breakfast was presented well... More

Only few minutes walk from the central square. Very friendly and helpful staff - Sayd & Mohamed :) - clean and safe hostel. Rich breakfast included.Totally recommend it for a pleasant stay. When you go for the first time is slightly confusing since you dont know the streets but then very easy to get orientated :)

our entry into Morocco was made by our welcome here at riad Layla rouge by sayd. Tired and lost we found our way to this amazing riad which was an oasis in the medina. Sayd provided us with mint tea and local pastries. Also much information on local restaurants etc. Would recommend this this riad to anyone.

This hostel rightly has a multitude of glowing reviews. There were in fact many aspects of it that were the best I have ever encountered in a hostel. Unfortunately our stay was made less satisfactory because of bed bugs we encountered in the dorms, and I hope that the hostel will take some action. After noticing several itchy bites and... More

Riad Layla Rouge is a welcoming place, Abdel makes you feel at home right away with a glass of chilled water or tea. He is very helpful and has excellent English and will arrange tours or cultural activities for you. During Ramadan, I couldn't pay by card, so take Pounds or Euros and change them when you land or take... More

I had a nice experience at this riad. Adrahim is a nice and attentive host. The riad is nice, cosy and colourful with an amazing terrace. Not a pretentious place but a very good cheap alternative. Plus very good to the main square. Breakfast is ok although microwaved food never tastes fresh and the table mats weren't super clean. The... More

A great Riad in a nice part oft Marrakech. Just a few minutes walk to the Jemaa el Fna from where you can start to explore the city. Cosy rooftop with lots of space to relax and enjoy a great view. Everything is very clean and the staff is so helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again!!

A friend and I stayed at riad Layla rouge in the heart of the medina for a couple of nights in May. Was a gorgeous little riad that was so colourful and bright. We shared a room and it was filled with all things Moroccan. We slept in at breakfast and missed this, but the staff whipped us up something... More
