Got to the hotel, the receptionist promised that the Wifi works and it did not work in the room, it seems they have several systems that should be working on different floors, and the "welcome" was running up and down 3 floors, ( no elevator, beware if you have luggage) trying to settle the wifi issue and then gave up.... I stayed at the Hotel Amira & Vacances for 2 weeks in April 2013., I have been to Marrakech 4 times and write my reviews the same time. This is a good budget hotel. The rooms are simple and clean. Breakfast is good Unfortunately, you can sometimes get a bad smell from the drain. The staff is nice. Location is... More

I visited this hotel for 3 nights in March 2014. Prior to visiting the hotel, as always I email to confirm my reservation. In this instance I emailed in both English and French. On this rare occasion I received no response at all from the hotel which isn't a good start. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is... More

Terrible communication: never replied to several emails I sent in different languages. There was no hot water in my room in the 2nd floor, nor was there free wifi there. I booked through booking.com. An awful experience, fortunately I didnt stay the 4 nights I booked. 20 meters from this place there was a much better hotel 5 euros cheaper.... More

As the title says, this hotel is superbly located for exploring the busy and exciting heart of Marrakesh's Medina. The breakfast we were served was the best I have ever had, the pancake/crumpets are the best way to start the day. Our room was cozy and clean. The staff were warm and friendly.

If u want to reside the old kasbah of Marrakesh, look no further, this is a very good one. Situated just some 30-40 meters away from the main square, Jemaa el Fna /the square has got its name from the public executions that used to take place there/ where most of the popular action is in Marrakesh. There are quiet,... More

My stay at this hotel was amazing. the catch of this hotel is the price and location. Location: Located close to the action of Jemaa Fnaa. Hardly 5 mins walk away from the Square. It is located in the street next to Cafe France. Better make sure of the directions beforehand. I loved the location as I wanted to be... More

Positive issues: - Location; - Reception with delicious snack; - Price of your stay; - Atendimento na recepção; - Breakfast and kindness of Miss Atika to serve you; - Rooms everyday cleaned with desinfectant; - Its safe to leave your belongings at the room. Negative issues: - Pay attention if you travel alone and are a outgoing girl, you might... More

I stayed in room 32 at Hotel Amira & Vacances in 19/04/2013, honestly I didn't expect such kind of well cleaned hotel, beautiful decorations, warmest hospitality with welcome drink. In hotel room there was enough space, tv, shower and clean room. Breakfast was in beautiful terrace, close to Jameaa Al Fna, where around restaurants, shops, coffee shops as well. Highly... More
