We booked 5 nights at the Riad and on our arrival were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. The management are very helpful and friendly and speak english and french amongst other languages fluently. It is a short 10 walk away from the main square but as two women we felt safe walking along the streets, even late... More

My family and I spent just one night at Riad Shaloma, though we hadn't planned to. Our original riad had double booked, so we were very disappointed to find we couldn't stay there. A call was made and the very helpful and friendly Chaffick (who speaks excellent english and french), came to our rescue, collecting us and taking us to... More

Riad Shaloma is a little diamond and perfect for anyone visiting Marrakesh. It is in a good position for walking to the main features of the City. We were well taken care of by everyone from a good breakfast to sorting out private airport transfers (10 euros each way) and excursions (Fantasia night was great). The room has air con... More

My husband and I and our grown daughter stayed in this lovely riad. Although we arrived well past midnight, our shuttle was waiting at the airport, and we were then met on the street to be lead through the alley labyrinth to the front door. Although its location was an easy walk to the sights, the riad was in a... More

I stayed at this Riad with my partner and another couple for 4 nights. Our initial stay was pleasant and the rooms were spacious and clean. Unfortunately however on our last night my partner and I noticed 200 EUROS MISSING from my suitcase which had an inbuilt combination lock which I had LOCKED everytime I left our room. Our friends... Had a fantastic seven nights in the riad shaloma. We were welcomed very warmly on arrival and the staff always helped with any request. We could eat breakfast on the roof every morning and it didn't matter what time we were up. The other guests were also really friendly. The riad was through a bit of a labyrinth of streets... More

Great location - away from the hustle and bustle to be quieter but close enough to walk in and enjoy what was on offer on the way. Riad comfortable, cleaned daily, basic good breakfast, freshly cooked. Enjoyed staying in a traditional building. Our only negative experience is on our last day we were given another guests room ( unaware to... More

We stayed at Riad Shaloma for 3 nights in February and had a wonderful time. On our day of arrival the manager met us from our pre-booked taxi but later also walked us up to the Badii Palace as my sense of direction had abandoned me! The Riad staff generally couldn’t do enough to help. The food was wonderful and... More

I normally like to have some type if complaint, but I really can't think of one! I have been to many hotels and this Riad is better than some of the 5* London hotels I have been in. The manager 'Abdul' was very friendly, seamed to work all the time! Was very helpful with everything. The rooms were spacious and... More

Myself and 2 friends stayed at the riad for 4 nights. The staff were really friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Provide you with information/ directions. Walk with you to find your way to the main street. Arrange trips / taxi's / restaurant bookings etc. The courtyard and roof terrace are a right... More
