This is a lovely and beautifully decorated hotel at the edge of a river. Our hosts Martine and Poulou made us feel very welcome. Poulou cooked us some amazing meals and Martine was very helpful in suggesting and then organising amazing trips to the Ourika valley. This is a place that you will remember for being special. We enjoyed our... More

Thanks again to Martine, Poulou and Ibrahim for this great adventure and for organizing this 3 days Trekking through the Ourika valley up to the foot of the Toubkal (next time we will do the Toubkal this is for sure!); we discovered beautiful landscapes and people. And as always the stay at eau bord de l'eau and cooking of Poulou... More

I can't say enough good things about this adorable little place in Seti Fatima. The rooms are very simple, but they are lovely and are right along the river with beautiful mountain views. It's also an incredible deal considering you get gourmet French cuisine! Seriously, the food was AMAZING!!! By far the best food we had in Morocco. However, what... More

we can´t recommend enough a stay at this beautiful spot. Off the beaten track this tiny piece of paradise is so welcoming and comfortable. Make sure you enjoy a meal here, the food is amazing, Poulou is a wonderful cook and Martine will make you feel at home from the second you arrive in their lovely space.

Not only were Poulou and Martine excellent hosts in a beautiful environment as testified by the reviews of other travellers, they also went beyond the call of duty by helping us in so many ways simply because they have an openness of mind and generosity of spirit. They were amongst the first Europeans to settle in this part of the... More

We spent 3 days in Marrakech, which we loved, and a couple of days in Essaouira, until we found this paradise just 45 minutes south of Marrakech. The sound of the river, the birds, and monkeys on the hills on the other side of the river... makes for a perfect getaway. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and very spacious. Martine... More

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay, Poulou cooked us delicious meals and Martine couldn't do enough to help us. On our first evening we were very tired and Martine very kindly offered to serve us dinner on our own so we could relax and soak it all in. Lunch in the garden was delightful - the garden runs... During our stay in Marrakesh we had a trip up into the Atlas Mountains. We had a fantastic tour guide who showed us all the sites. When we stopped for lunch we asked if there was anywhere we could have lunch with a bottle of wine. He recommended Au Bord de l'Eau which is a run by Martine and Poulou.... More

During our stay in Marrakech we decided to go to see the mountains- the High Atlas Mountains a few hours away from Marrakech. Our driver was wonderful and showed us the best sites in Ourika valley including the Berber villages and the women's cooperative that makes Argon (Almond) oil. The day was rainy and cloudy but extremely lovely. Our driver... More

I did not stay at the inn overnight, but I did have a meal here. Poulou, the owner, is an easygoing and earnest man; I would love for others to enjoy a meal or a night in this quaint location. I was staying in the Medina in Marrakech and took a day trip out to Atlas Mountains. One of our... More
