On the positive side: Great breakfast, friendly staff, great view from the 6th floor Sky Bar, good value and good location. Wifi is not the best but exists, large TV, good shower, good view from balcony, clean room, has minibar (with beers). On the negative side: Here in Morocco it is advertised as 5-star, in Hotels.com as 4-star. However, I... More

Went here as was advised that the views at the top of the hotel were impressive (known as the Sky Bar). Yes it is but they capitalise on it! Drinks are expensive. The wine was very disappointing and definitely watered down. I asked about the wine and was advised 'it's a light wine!' Economical truth I suppose! Shame really.

1.5 hours waiting for a room.glass showerdoor is not there (used to be). Balcony door can't be closed. Linnen is dirty, floors are dammaged. Not 1 glass in the room to drink water out. This hotel is overrated.

I would not stay at this hotel. There are many nicer alternatives in Marrakech. The wifi in my room never worked and they refused to change rooms, even though there was a bad sewage smell. I asked about 50 times about the wifi problem and each time they would send a 'technician' who would reset the modem which worked for... More

On Avenue Mohammed V in the Gueliz area. Go in take the lift to the 6th Floor and then walk the flight of stairs to the roof terrace where there are great views of the city, Jebel Gueliz and the Atlas Mountains as well as the view towards the Medina and La Koutoubia. I tried the Moroccan "Casablanca" beer (bottled)... More

Having spend the day walking around Marrakech we thought it would be a good idea to have a drink, a beer before returning to our hotel Riu Tikida Gardens, 10 day holiday in Marrakech 22nd Sept to 2nd Oct. We had been told that the view from the Sky bar was worth seeing. We walked from the old town up... More

Great place to base yourself to explore the city. Location is very close to the new mall with the includes all the usual branded stores. The gentleman on at reception when we arrived was fantastic, he could sense that we were stressed out after driving several hours across the mountains and then then crazy driving in Marrakesh broke us, but... On our last day in Marrakech, after six days of staying the Medina, we decided to explore the Gueliz. With Morocco being a Muslim country, booze was not as available as it is at home and we fancied a treat, with it being the end of a great trip. I kind of got in into my head that we could... More

Unprofessional staff, confused sales manager, worst stay ever. Music is loud and can be heard in rooms, breakfast is never refilled in mornings that's how inattentive restaurant staff are. Rooms are never cleaned and stink. We purchased beer from outside and were charged on our bills just on the assumption that it was taken from the mini bar as the... More

We visited Sky Bar to enjoy the sunset and a few cocktails. Prices are on par with London and the cocktails are excellent. It was disappointing that they did not have any champagne so could not make champagne cocktails. Great spot for a cocktail and amazing views....
