If you are planning to visit Marrakech do not miss the chance to stay at Riad Siwan. You will have quick and easy access to the edge of the medina and yet feel as though you are far away from the hustle and bustle of busy streets. The Riad is beautifully decorated. The central courtyard and rooftop terrace are both... More

The Riad Siwan is a stunningly beautiful, renovated Riad. The detail and workmanship that has gone into creating the Riad Siwan to the glory of what it is today, is overwhelming. All finishes are of excellent quality. The rooms are individually decorated and one can see that this has been expertly done. The lights and lighting add another dimension to... More

The Siwan is the definition of an oasis. It's absolutely lovely, relaxing, gracious, and charming. We felt so welcome from the moment we walked in the door that we stayed in for dinner both nights of our stay. They were the best 2 meals of our trip in Morocco. Our room was unbelievable with beautiful lighting fixtures, handsome furniture, a... More

We did a 10 day tour of Morocco in March 2014 and stayed in wonderful riads, hotels, or or guesthouses along the way but non compared with Riad Siwan. The medina in Merrakech is a crazy and exciting and exotic place so to go down a lonely alley and around a few cornets and find the beautiful, quiet, elegant home... More

Thank you Khalid and the team at Riad Siwan for a most comfortable and relaxing stay, our best road experience yet after 3 years and many awesome places. You really made such an effort to look after us. Pluses, cooking class- so interesting and fun! Great room, great shower, delicious (stunning, the best) food, great wine, so close to everything,... We had three wonderful nights at Riad Siwan, it was a great stay. Riad is close to everything yet very quiet and peaceful. We also had two dinners there, the food was so good. All of the staffs were friendly and paid attention to details. Highly recommended.

What can I say; we hired Riad Siwan for a private party of 12 people, therefore enabling us to use the Riad exclusively. Maryk and her team were superb; excellent location (easy walking distance to the square and souks), food (local) and fantastic service. Everyone is extremely friendly and very helpful; they organised camel rides, pamper sessions, reservations in various... More

We stayed here 3 nights in the Azrou suite. It's a spacious suite with a large bathroom. The heater worked well in both the room and the bathroom. Breakfast is served on the terrace and we enjoyed our 2 dinners at the Riad. It's an easy walk to the square and the souks. A highly recommend for a place to... More

This was our second visit and once again we loved it. Cees and Marijke and their staff really make you feel at home. Everybody is extremly friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting the Riad again. The Rias is very clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast on the roof was great.

This Riad is owned by a charming Dutch couple named Maryk and Cees who transformed it from a pile of rubble [there are "before" photos in the entrance hall] into a beautiful, tasteful oasis. They both frequently checked in on our stay and offered recommendations without being overbearing; it was almost as if we were guests in their home. The... More
