We booked this hotel after a recommendation by a work colleague and we were not disappointed. This beautiful Riad is in a quiet street in the old town, just minutes away from all the hustle and bustle of the souks and main square. The Riad is truly beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Indeed I would like to thank Cristina... More

I'd start by commenting on the negative review below. TripAdvisor reviews are vital to me in choosing where I stay and presumably equally important to hotel owners so it is sad when a negative review is allowed to stand from a "one review" poster, and it certainly doesn't reflect what we found during our stay. Perhaps TA could (and should)... More

I have stayed in Dah Sohane more than 6 times. I have been to Marrakech many many times and stumbled on Dar Sohane when my original riad was double booked... It's their loss as I've never stayed anywhere else since. The riad has beautiful suites, all individually unique, I've stayed in them all... But Blue Moon is my favourite, I... More

This is a lovely riad in a great location. The staff are fantastic - Cristina, Ahmed and Mohammed went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time in Marrakech. I contacted Cristina prior to our arrival to arrange an excursion to the Atlas Mountains, which was brilliant, would definitely recommend doing this. We stayed in the Blue... More

I had an amazing stay in this enchanting, comfy, old traditional riad style. The service was more than perfect. The location is excellent, close to the market place. Just be aware though than the taxi can't bring you to the door of the hotel. You 'll have to walk a little through the beautiful alleys (same for most of the... More

I could not recommend Dar Sohane more highly to my fellow travellers. In fact, since returning from a short business trip to Marrakech last week, I have recommended this riad to several friends. Cristina and her team provided truly exceptional service throughout my stay, and went above and beyond the service expectations of all reasonable travellers. Nothing was too much... More

What a lovely place to stay. Brilliant position within walking distance of all the souks and museums and 5 minutes from the wonderful Jemaa El Fna square where you can enjoy Marrakech at it's best with restaurants and cafe's right on the Riad Dar Sohane's doorstep. Expertly run by Christina and her lovely team, the Riad is everything you could... More

Staying at Dar Sohane was a very enjoyable experience. Beautiful guesthouse with a serene and tranquil ambiance. Cristine, Mohammed, Ahmed, Fatima and all of the staff make sure that you are extremely well taken care of while you stay here. Loved the breakfast, its presentation and chatting to Cristina about Marrakesh and taking heed of her tips. We also had... More

Deep in the Medina, but easy to find, Dar Sohane is a bright and friendly home away from home. The rooms are generous, the staff courteous. The rooftop terrace and downstairs library are both welcoming comfortable places. Breakfasts with breads, eggs however you want them ("eggs normal" = soft boiled!) and great jellies give the morning a great start. Staff... More
