2nd time in Marrakech and I would say that overall this is good value family accommodation. However if you sweat the small stuff though, you maybe disappointed. Pros : Family themed hotel plenty of activities for all the family day and evening entertainment Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming Cons: Hotel rooms are a bit tired/basic (you do not have... Rooms were okay but staff were very unhelpful. We were forced to pay a 770 euro all inclusive fee, not mentioned when booking initially and our names weren't on their system despite advance booking online and showing the confirmation email. Lady at reception was quite rude and practically laughed in our faces. Good hotel but definitely needs to work on... More

We (me, husband and 3yr old son) stayed in the Royal Decameron Issil in October 2014 and had a fantastic time! Yes, it's mostly a French speaking hotel, but if you make a slight effort in French the staff respond really well and they all tried out their English on us. What was nice was that there weren't too many... More

I stayed here with a friend for a week in December. The hotel is situated in beautiful landscaped gardens. The main building holds the restaurant, bar and reception and the rooms are laid out throughout the grounds along with the spa, sports facilities etc. The pool looked lovely and was very clean but we didn't use it as the water... I was a bit worried after reading some of the bad reviews on trip advisor, I think I must have been in a different hotel. There is not only French visitors in this hotel we met some lovely people from England, Italy, Dutch, Senegal and many more. The room we stayed in 65 was large clean and well decorated. All... More

The hotel is actually very nice and having been to Marrakech before, the issues with total absence of any information or assistance from the reception staff wasn't so much of an issue. They do however shoot themselves in the foot a bit, because they aren't even encouraging you to make the most of the hotel. The rooms are nice enough,... More

Just home from this hotel. Staff were OK at reception. They do understand you and speak good English (most of staff). Our concern was arriving at night and ATM not working. Also transport shuttle free bus not for our booking and as there is nothing outside of hotel used taxis which added up. No other choice. Food OK room OK... More
