My husband and I traveled in middle dec 2013, it was slightly cold. The rooms have heating so it wasnt so bad, but the dining area has no windows the area looks out on to the pool area. So in the evening whilst dining, it was too cold, and out of the 3 heaters only one worked, which was ok,... More

On their web site they stated 'shuttle bus into town, a selection of toiletries from their spa' no toiletries the shuttle was one return trip into town, breakfast was the same every morning which was bread spam, hard boiled egg, processed cheese triangle and some jam. we went into the restaurant for an evening meal, and although we had coats on... The staff where nice which is probably the best thing about the stay because otherwise it would have shattered the whole experience. So where do we start accomodation: standard size rooms some have a little terrace others dont. Under the beds was very dusty and you occasionally saw a dead cockroach from the bug spray but nevertheless, the towels where... More

If the hotel was closer to the city, I would have put 5 stars which is the only problem we had with the hotel. We stayed four nights and we were happy with the room, service and environment. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast on the terrace by the pool was very nice and wait staff was attentive.... More

I stayed in Palais Jena last week and had a fantastic time. The hotel itself is modern, spacious and clean. The outdoor area is calm and pretty. The staff don't speak English too well but are still extremely helpful. It is located a fair drive from Marrakech town, however I preferred to escape the noise of the city. I never... More

We have just returned from a four-night stay in the Palais Jena, Marrakech. Other reviewers have been critical of the distance of this hotel from the city centre but I loved it. Most hotels require a taxi ride to get to the centre of Marrakech, so being a bit further out is only a little more time consuming and a... More

Several members of my family from the USA and I stayed at the Hotel Jena in September 2013 while we were in Marrakech for a wedding. The rooms were large and comfortable, clean and we had a terrace on the garden. The hotel manager was always very friendly and helpful assisting us in organizing transport and excursions. The breakfast by... More

We were sent here from another hotel and I'm so glad for the experience. The staff here are so helpful and accommodating. When we arrived, a tea service was delivered within minutes. We were made to feel very welcome--not an intrusion as we felt in the previous hotel. Yes, it is a bit of a drive from the main square;... More

Stayed for three nights, after initial small problem with the room , the owner took over and we were placed in a beautiful suite. Everything you could want . The breakfast is lacking in choice but what is served up is very well presented. The staff bend over backward to make sure you are happy, Karam the waitress is a... More

I returned with my family yesterday from a week at the Palais Jena in Marrakech. The staff are very friendly, rooms clean and a good size. The menu was limited but the food was good quality. I would certainly use the hotel again.
