We've just returned from a week at the Riad Al Ksar and Spa and would fully recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech. The Riad has excellent staff and is light, cool, clean and in a good location. Abdul greeted us and talked to us about the area, giving us a map on which he highlighted places we might want to... More

A Riad and a Hotel are two distinct places and are not to be confused when booking a stay. A Riad is located mainly in the area of the central market and are traditional historic homes, some of which are converted for commercial purposes to accommodate tourists. It is therefore located in a residential area. What this gives you is... More

Clean, cozy and quiet. Good atmosphere. Walking distance to everything in the old Medina. We felt safe walking night time in the narrow streets leading from the big square back to the riad. Super friendly staff, especially the owner. Good food. From the roof terrace you can see the sunset and the Atlas Mountains. All in all, very nice.

This was a last minute trip booked the night before and also our first time in Marrakech! We arrived quite late and ended up at the wrong Riad first but the owner kindly took us to the right street. Although a bit difficult to find (don't be put off by the dingy alleyway) it was brilliant once we got inside.... More

We stayed at the Al Ksar Riad during a recent filming trip to Marrakech, and found it a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the souks and central Marrakech. After a long days work is was a fantastic retreat and a calm contrast to the vibrant and often chaotic city life. The service was exceptional and the rooms... More

The Al Ksar Riad & Spa was our first stay in Morocco. The Riad's location, while very central, is a bit difficult to find. Even the Taxi drivers did have some troubles. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They did help us booking a rental car as all the cars at the airport were already booked. The rooms were spacious... More

The Riad was an oasis of peace in a sometimes frantic Marrakesh. The staff were lovely: helpful and considerate, without being intrusive, and the riad itself seemed very well managed. The rooms were clean and the superior twin room we had was spacious, with a well sized bathroom. There was plenty of room to relax; either in the downstairs "courtyard"... More

The best: sleeping quality is super: great mattress and very quiet neighbourhood. Very near the centre, we walk to and from most locations from the Riad. Of course being two girls, coming back at night we were just a little be wary when walking back to the Riad since the streets around it are quiet and dark after midnight! Breakfast... More

Olivier and the team made us so welcome and helped us relax and enjoy our stay. When I was poorly they were very kind. Food was great and the roof terrace was wonderful with great views of the Atlas Mountains. We loved Riad Alksar and would thoroughly recommend it. Thank you very much.

The Riad offered a fantastic, authentic, Moroccan experience. The room was very comfortable, and breakfast either in the indoor courtyard or on the roof terrace, was a wonderful start to the day. The orange juice was amazing! The staff were very helpful - giving advice and suggestions when asked about where to go and how much to expect to pay.... More
