Through the door of les orangers d'Allia you are transported into a little Riad Oasis. The decor is very shabby chic and the welcome very friendly. On arrival we were offered drinks. The rooms are nicely decorated along with air conditioning which we needed due to the heat wave in May. The Riad is approx 15 minutes walk from the... More

As soon as the door opened at les orangers d'alilia I was transported into an oasis . The fragrance of oranges oozes around the riad . The attention to detail was to perfection , the interior design was stunning making you feel calm and relaxed . Our rooms were large, the linen was crisp and beautiful. The roof terrace was... More

Wonderful stay. Quiet and beautiful. Joelle the owner is charming and very helpful, and her staff are fantastic. All made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return. Loved it.

Great reviews on tripadvisor led to my girlfriend and I booking a five night stay in this Riad. I have to say the experience was nothing short of terrible! The reviews here do not cover the paucity of the English spoken not only by the staff, but also by the host. They also do not mention how the area of... More

My wife and I spent a fantastic 5-night stay in les « Orangers d’Alilia”. This riad guesthouse is situated on a quiet street, in the heart of the Marrakech Kasbah district. It is at a short walking distance from “les tombeaux Saadiens”, El Baldi Palace or the Mellah Jewish district. This charming riad is very well decorated and well managed... More

Well located in the Southern Medina, not far away from Al Koutoubia and Jeema el Fna. Nice welcome, nice people. Good value for the money, not too expensive, good overall quality, simple (in the sense not glittering or fashionable) and efficient.

WOW. What a fantastic place to stay. The Riad was simply stunning, a large orange tree dominates the centre of the court yard utterly beautiful. This was fantastic for 4 ladies enjoying some girlie time away. It would also be perfect for couples to enjoy as it has a romantic feel. The Riad was cosy, stylish and so so comfortable.... More

Joelle has exquisite taste and the Riad les Orangers 'Alillia' is an expression of this. We stayed in the riad, and the annex - both are special places. Joelle's recommendations were 'spot on' and we enjoyed some fabulous restaurants thanks to her recommendations. Special thanks for recommending Les Bains de Marrakech - what a wonderful experience. We felt at home... More
