We were a group of 5 girls travelling together, we arrived in the dark and were quite nervous on the way to the Riad, but when we arrived we were greeted with mint tea and sat on the roof terrace and drank wine. Omar was amazing he looked after our every need and was very funny. The hotel staff booked... More

The riad itself is lovely, the pool is fantastic to come back to after a hot day in Marrakech. The room was beautifully presented (although a little disconcerting not having a bathroom door), the common areas are comfortable and the terrace is lovely to sit on at night. It is a little hard to find without a sign outside so... More

This riad is very fine. The building and the room is beautiful. The decoration is traditional. The building maybe is not original but have a good atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpfull The breakfast is a litle poor but enought. Maybe the next time I try something other because the location is not perfect.

A beautiful old Riad and surroundings but was a bit disappointed in the friendliness of the place. Given its small size, we felt more effort could be made in our welcome and more interest shown in helping us find our way around/giving information. May have been better if we were French or spoke better French but we were given a... More

We booked two nights at Riad Calista. Beautiful setting - lovely, peaceful and quiet. As two Australians who have travelled extensively, we were very impressed with the Riad's manager Khadija (think I've spelt correctly) who is such a wonderful host, incredibly kind and thoughtful. She really went out of her way to explain Marrakech and local activities, which was a... More

Excellent Riad, well equiped, beautiful, clean, and the rooms are comfortable! Omar, who works there, is very nice and helpful. The swimming pool is a plus, how wonderful is it to cool down after a long day in the sun? I recommend strongly Riad Calista. Even though it is a little far from Jemaa El Fna (15 minutes walk), it... The Riad was very pretty, lots of nice features and a calm, relaxing feeling. We had the twin room which was very small. It was clean and practical. The shower was in the room with no curtain or door. As the room is a twin room it is likely that the guests are friends. We managed to fashion a curtain... More

Starting from the beginning, the email communications were great and we organised an airport transfer (15 euros) and dinner (36 euros for 2 people) at the riad for our first night of arrival with Eveyln the French owner. No problems with the transfer and we were guided through the alley ways to the riad by the driver. The host sat... More

A very authentic riad - felt like staying in a Moroccan home. Stayed in the Suite Royale which had its own private lounge area overlooking the small pool. Staff made you feel welcome and provided high level of discrete service. Enjoyed time on the roof terrace, using both the Berber tent and the sun loungers. Riad is located deep in... More

Madam was very kind, helpful and informative. The Riad was just what we hoped for, intimate and comfortable. Our room was basic but clean. Breakfast was a very enjoyable experience. The plunge pool was very welcome after hours of walking throught the souk The only negative was something that we had been led to expect from previous reviews -the smell... More
