We stayed at the Dar Jaguar for 4 nights after our wedding in May 2011 and really enjoyed it. We enjoyed two of the rooms, the State of Grace suite and the Babylonian Vamp. Both were really well designed and had an amazing bath tub. We were given a tour of the Riad and all rooms are beautiful. The staff... More

I had the pleasure of staying at Dar Jaguar with my girlfriend recently. Having read the great reviews on this website I was expecting a great experience. The weekend actually exceeded all expectations. Immaculate and stylish rooms, an amazing rooftop terrace, authentic Morrocan food and very hospitable staff. An amazing oasis just a short walk from the hustle and bustle... More

We booked the entire riad for a group of us for my cousin's hendo, March 2011. Before we had even arrived, Lucia's help with planning transport, meals and excursions was fantastic, and we were able to organise an amazing intinerary - with some really fabulous recommendations. On arriving at the riad, we were all so excited - the riad is... More

A group of 10 girls stayed at Dar Jaguar for my hen do for 5 nights in May and we were thrilled with our stay at Dar Jaguar. The whole trip was absolutely faultless from start to finish. We were met at the airport by the Dar Jaguar transfer and were taken on the short trip to the main square... More

Stayed in Dar Jaguar for two nights, my previous stay in another Riad was awful so I was apprehensive to be in the thick of it again. Dar Jaguar completely changed my mind ! We were met at Club Med just off the square and walked through the hustle and bustle to the Dar. After a couple of minutes we... More

It was my second trip to Marrakech and this was by far the most memorable. The riad is exquisite, centrally located and comfortable. The staff was amazing; Fatiha (house manager) was friendly and the food was outstanding. The dinner I had the first night was the best meal I had the entire trip. Breakfasts were healthy and scrumptious. Rooftop terrace... More

A perfect guest house tucked away in a lane off the labyrinth of streets in the Medina. Just a stones throw from the main square, it's a quiet haven from the fervour of excitement found in just seconds away. We had the 4 poster main suite, the bed enormous, comfy and I loved the deep sunken old bath... Dar Jaguar... More

My first trip to Marrakesh and to Morocco and I was expecting, and found, energy, color, smells, chaos, bustle, noise...did I say color. The souk was amazing. The desert stunning. And we found our own center of calm and tranquility amidst it all. Perfectly located 5 mins walk from the main square, in the old town, but take a right... More

Dar Jaguar is by far the best guesthouse I have ever visited. The location is second to none, it is exquisitely decorated, quiet and sumptuously comfortable. The staff is friendly, ever helpful and very discreet. Breakfast is a delight and the dinner, Fathia prepared for us, was quite simply the best meal we had in Morocco. And the drinks on... More

After reading the earlier (and on second glance - clearly connected!) negative reviews I was a little apprehensive... no need!! This place is an absolute gem. 5 minutes from the main square, but nicely tucked away so that you can escape the hustle and bustle if you need to. Be warned it's hard to leave because the food is so... More
