The best part of this hostel was the price. My friend and I booked from home 4 nights in the hostel, plus the Sahara trip, with all the breakfasts, two dinners, the entire trip included for 100€: which was an absolutely amazing deal. Because if you don’t pay in advance, you’ll pay much more the Sahara trip. So: book it... More

Hostel Riad Marrakesh Rouge was really promising much, second year of being the best hostel in Marrakesh, and best reviews I ever saw. It was supposed to be our stop for just one night after the trip to Sahara, and we were really looking forward to see what makes it so great. I have to admit that after that one... More

The staff at Marakech Rouge welcomed us with tea and friendly faces, explained us how to get to the main sights, gave a a map and even advice how to haggle :) Also we met really nice people who also traveled and had great stories to tell, spent evening on the roof terrace and just had a great time! The... More

Probably the best hostel I have stayed, I went to Marrakesh with my girlfriend who has done zero backpacking and has zero hostel experience. I threw her in at the deep end, but she and I loved it we spent 3 nights in a 6 bed dorm and it cost next to nothing. the staff are always there to help... More

I stayed in Rouge 2, it was a great experience! Extremely friendly and helpful staff, who serve mint tea to you all day if desired! Decorated beautifully, with plenty of communal areas - great for getting to know other travelers. Very lively place to stay, with Moroccan music, cooking classes and excursions for a low cost, the turtles and chameleon... More

After our terrible hostel in Essaouira, Marrakech Rouge was absolutely amazing. Felt like we were at home. Great common area, delicious homemade breakfast (3 types of bread and a cake), clean rooms, the most friendly staff I could have imagined and super location - 5 minute walk to the big square. The staff helped us work out how much we... More

Marrakech is a Chaos, not always friendly. Riad Marrakech Rouge is somehow a chaos itself, but where all the people -specially the staff- is extremly friendly, smile, and try to help. I only stayed a single night there, but I would not mind to have stayed a couple of nights more. Very recommendable. Only one bad point: to find it... More

I'd never stayed in a hostel before, so the thought of one in Morocco of all places made me feel a bit nervous; we arrived by taxi in a little square with no clue where we were going when the taxi driver threw his arms around this man and they started talking happily in Arabic, it turned out he worked... We were a group of 3 students who stayed here after a trek and we enjoyed our stay. It was good value for money but it did get hot with no aircon, but that's to be expected. Staff were really friendly and the resident cat was lovely. Breakfast was lovely too. All in all a great hostel. Good location too.

Seriously one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. They're very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast is AMAZING. It's absolutely huge for a hostel. The location is great, right beside a ham am if you fancy one. Also, they have a cat, which is a big seller for me. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Would... More
