We stayed in this Riad for 4 nights, it is extremely close to the medina and the souks but it is peaceful and quiet. After the hectic days walking about (and getting lost all the time) in Marrakesh it felt so good to be back in the Riad. Breakfast was served every morning with fresh cooked food and fresh orange... We arrived later in the evening and were welcomed with open arms! Our room was beautifully decorated and definitely felt like a home away from home. Having traveled throughout Africa (both good and not so good experiences), I was so thankful for the cleanliness and thoughtfulness of Riad Agathe. We were treated to delicious breakfasts, expert advice on navigating the... More

The reviews said Riad Agathe was friendly but did not to it justice. I was personally shown the way to the city centre, personally escorted to morning taxis. Riad Agathe arranged for taxis at a set fare, no tip allowed. Would I like some (complimentary) tea? Coffee? I was there for a week and during a quiet stretch I was... More

About 20 mins walk from the main tourist area was local enough to find the souks but far enough to experience a bit of the real Marrakech. The riad was down a few alleyways and being a first time Marrakech traveller , I was so surprised to find the magical riad behind an unassuming door. The riad was full of... More

We stayed here after getting jerked around a bit by the hostel we originally booked. I really wish we had found this place originally as the one night we had was not nearly enough. It was a great respite from our less comfortable nights elsewhere in Marrakech. The owner (I believe his name was Ali) was genuine and outgoing and... More

The riad is managed by a french family. We were a group of 11 with many specific requests for room and food. They really took great care of us. Very hospitable couple. My flight was at 7AM in the morning, they had left breakfast for me on the table (including hot coffee!!) and the husband came to drop me to... More

Just back from five nights at Riad Agathe. About a 20-minute walk NW of Djemma al Fna, absolutely quiet after 10pm, large airy rooms with good baths, _wonderful_ roof terrace with birds, small trees and sofas under awnings -- we spent a _lot_ of time up there after breakfast and in the evening before going out to dinner. Ate in... More
