We stayed only one night in Ryad Aliya but could not have been happier. Due to lack of time we came by overnight bus to Fes and arrived in the early morning. On arrival we were immediately smitten with this Riad. Breakfast in the courtyard with fresh bread jams, eggs and cakes. Surrounded by morrocon tiles and carving was special.... More

I stayed at Riad Aliya at the beginning of December. From the moment they opened the door I was made to feel at home. My room was beautiful and inviting, the roof terrace was a great place to relax and the Riad itself was a haven from the hustle of the street. But the best bit was the hospitality. The... More

Located in heart of Casbah. We have previously enjoyed staying in riads and Aliya had some positive reviews. Our room was ok but bathroom was rundown: unpleasant smell ,some missing floor tiles at shower entrance.Shower cabinet was built of concrete and was totally dark and unlit.Taps repaired with non matching items.w.c moved slightly on floor.Poor lighting in bathroom.Room was rather cold... My partner and I visited the Riad Aliya between 01 July - 08 July 2014. We went based on the reviews on trip advisor and the cost. The Riad Aliya is a beautiful little spot located 10 minutes from the heart of the Medina and the jemaa el fna. It's located just off a few sides streets in the Kasbah... More

Three ladies working there two very helpful especially the lady who often cleaned the room but I can't remember her name. One is not very smiley but I think off hand manner is just her way she did help a lot with dinner reservations. There is no security in as much as there are no locks on the rooms and... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every second. The rooms are authentic, clean, comfortable and above all else so peaceful! Every day our room was cleaned and tidied so it was a great place to return to after a long day of exploring. The roof top terrace is (again!) so peaceful, comfortable and a great place to spend... The riad is nice and quiet. We stayed there for 2 nights and we were the only clients there, so we felt as if its our own place. The girls that work there are very friendly specially Hyat, she received us with a warm welcome and she was always smiling. The breakfast was fine. It is standard in all the... More

As has already been said, this Riad's location is great-right in the Kasbah but still quiet and just a few minutes walk from the Djama El Fna Square. It was a real oasis of calm after the mayhem of Marrakech. Its traditional style around the inner courtyard was just what we expected and were looking for. Our first floor room... More

They had messed up our booking and we had to change rooms after the first night. Breakfast was plain and a bit boring. One day there was one small yoghurt, but only one - we were two. Room was small, bed was horrible, my back is still hurting.... Bathroom was very dark, and water pressure so low at the zink... More

The decor, building, staff and general feel in this Riad were just wonderful. It was definitely the best part of Marrakech for us. Loved having the plunge pool in the courtyard (I wouldn't recommend staying somewhere without a pool in their summer!), and very few Riads in the Medina have pools, so it was a real bonus. And the roof... More
