First time in Marrakech, chose this riad after reading reviews and being one of British Airways recommended hotels. Booked transport with Riad - great communications from Patrice prior to visit. We where met at airport & once again met from transport by Ibriham who took us through the streets to the riad. What a delightful place to stay. The rooms... More

We stayed for three nights just before the new year as a mini vacation and it was wonderful. We booked through an agency and the transfer was included but I advise you to book the transfer from and to the airport through the Riad since the Medina is full of alleys and the drivers don't know where most of the... Fantastic, high quality Riad, located in a residential part of the Medina. The Riad was clean, beautifully decorated and fitted out and was very quiet. The service was excellent, with mint tea flowing constantly. The rooms were very nicely decorated and facilities were to a high standard. My wife and I would like to make special mention of the concierge... More

We arrived in the bustling Medina to be greeted by Abdul who helped us navigate our way to Riad Ambre et Epices. This is our first tip, organise your transfer to and from the Riad with them- it takes out the hassle and stress of finding your way. When the door of the Riad opens, prepare to be amazed by... Great location - tucked away in a quiet corner of the medina so great for relaxing, but very close to souks and restaurants. Unique and stylish rooms kept nice and cool by their air con service. Staff were attentive and always willing to help in whatever way possible. Would return again.

Me and my wife stayed here for one night in early January after returning for a long trip over the Atlas Mountains. Unfortunately there was no hot water in the Riad due to a local issue, however this can be seen as bad luck. What cannot be attributed to luck however is the following. For the price of room, the... Good for those people who are not aware of local Morroco or South Asian Experience. Swimming pool is actually a jacuzzi not a pool. Services are personalised and excellent all the way through. Some people may not like it as the place is sitting right in the heart of local community. It's a local home converted into a guest house.

We don't have a single complaint about our week at the Riad Ambre et Epices. The staff and management were absolutely lovely, the suite was gorgeous, the food was as good as any restaurant in the city, and the excursions we booked (a tour of the Ourika Valley and a hammam/massage) were worth every penny. The riad itself is beautiful,... More

This is a superbly designed and clean hotel tucked away in a quiet little corner right in the middle of the medina. The courtyard overlooks a small pool with orange trees around it. The rooms are clean and cool and easy to be at home in. The staff is helpful and very attentive. It's truly an oasis. Would absolutely stay... More

We arrived to mixed weather. Chosing a riad to stay in November was not a sensible choice. The riad was lovely as were the staff but I did not think it out properly as its round a courtyard open to the elements only in winter the top is covered in by a plastic roof. When its raining you stay in... More
