I am writing this to inform fellow Trip Advisor users of our awful experience. We never made it to Riad Anyssates although had booked it through recommendations of people who had stayed there before. The rave reviews speak for itself HOWEVER we will not be recommending it or booking to return. We were unable to use our Reservation due to... More

We stayed at the Anyssates for 4 nights at the end of April and were very happy with our choice. Our taxi from the airport took us as close to the medina as possible, in the midst of a bustling market and people, donkeys and mopeds flying past and a man appeared taking hold of our bags shouting 'I take... Dear Angelika, dear Adam, I am glad to see that you had such a good time here with us and that we were able to help you enjoying Marrakech which, as crazy as it can be, is indeed a stunning city. Thank a lot for your kind review and I hope that you will be back for more! Nicolas More

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Anyssates and would thoroughly recommend. The riad is located within the Medina but when inside the hustle and bustle seems along way away. Nicholas sat us down and went through the maps, with local tips and his top three places to visit, this was invaluable and we did not get lost once trying... More

My wife and I hugely enjoyed our recent stay at Riad Anyssates. We were looked after very well by Nicholas and the team there. A lovely simple Moroccan Riad with modern touches, set back out of the busy Medina of Marrakesh. Our highlight was snoozing on the roof terrace late afternoon, listening only to the swallows diving around us. The... More

On our way to the Riad we wondered where we were being taken as the roads got narrower and narrower. As soon as we arrived at the door we were Very warmly welcomed by Nicholas the owner and his team. Instantly felt we had arrived in a calm relaxing atmosphere that was tranquil. We stayed for 3 nights in the... More

My family and I had a brilliant stay in Marrakesh & have been recommending the Riad Anyssantes to friends since we have returned home. The location was great for getting into the souks & was an oasis of calm after a busy day sightseeing. Equally being near one of the main gates makes it useful for getting further afield in... More

Behind the back street of the market old town sits the Riad Anyssates, A wonderful Family run style hotel. It’s really lovely to stay in a place that is not big o multi this or that, but down to earth good service good rooms and great place with brilliant staff that really care. The rooms are as individual as the... More

After the hustle of Marrakech this riad is the perfect hideaway. The staff are lovely, hard working and always accommodating. We had a beautiful stay here. The night we arrived we felt a little poorly but a private table was laid out for us to enjoy a beautiful three course meal. They take pride in everything that they do here.... More

the Riad itself is tranquil, simple and an oasis of calm. Staff are wonderfully helpful and food, while set menu only, was excellent. That's the good news. On the flip side, the location is dreadful. While I'm sure no part of the medina is wonderful - this part of it certainly kept us on our toes. It's just an assault... More

Dear Geraldine Thank you for taking the time to share your experience here on Tripadvisor. Seeing that you enjoyed your stay with us was very encouraging for the staff and I. It pains me then to read your critics with the location. As it is true that we are not in the central medina, it takes 15-20mn to walk to... More

I was ripped off by this property when I booked with "free cancellation" and then did cancel within the required deadline. I was nevertheless charged by the owner. There is small print that allows the owner to charge although advertised as free. The resulting negotiation was very unfriendly and unhelpful. I say avoid.

Dear Mary, It pains me to see that you had such a bad experience with only the cancellation of your stay. As much as I regret that you had to cancel, I feel obligated to precise that it was not within the deadline. Not by much but still not within. I also have to disagree with what you said about...
