Modern apartment, well equipped, wifi and daily servicing. The only drawback, not one English TV channel only French or Arabic channels available. Location is very central so taxi fares varied from 10DHS to 50DHS to get around the city. Friendly staff and very helpful.

The buildings exterior needs some work, but the apartments we received were beyond reproach: clean, spacious and sufficiently fitted out. The receptionist was most helpful. We took our breakfasts in nearby Café Lobo (across the main road, one block down), which proved ample, tasty and low cost. Speaking French is an advantage.

Residence Amina has all the charm of a Moroccan townhouse. Very pretty entrance & the rooms are well equipped and cleaned daily. It is very centrally located & we found it easy to stroll to the Medina and around both the old & new town areas. There is a good bar nearby for those who fancy a pint & for... More

Pros - Fabulous swimming pool, weather, good supermarket - selling fresh meat fruit wine and beer. Uniformed security guards walking the site and controlled gate access. Cons - Little investment in infrastructure or apartments, remote, loud and intrusive noise from weekend "raves" nearby in afternoon and evening, poor sound insulation between floors, overselling of trips. Pre booked Taxi failed to... More

We stayed for two weeks; the Amina is starting to show it's age, however everything was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Ismail and Anna. WiFi was only available in the lobby, but that wasn't a problem for us. Our second week we moved to room 208; nice room with two separate balconies and bathrooms. (the... More

We went to the Residence Amina last year in September (2012). We had not paid very much as it was an exchange deal. We were okay as a party of adults but would not want to take young children as not sure if many aspects of the Hotel such as the wiring are particularly safe. There were only a couple... More

The first bit of advice I would give is book your taxi via the hotel 180dirhams. We paid 300 at the airport, however it was late and we were tired. You have to fill in paperwork to get in to Morroco and again at the hotel, and at the airport when you leave. So get this filled in ASAP or... More

We had three couples and three different reservations through RCI to stay at this location for one week. We had two rooms with two bedrooms each. The location is nice but I wasn't too happy with the place. It's O.K. Clean and tidy. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were too. The water is hot ... which it's good... More

We stayed in Residence Amina for the first 4 nights of our South Morocco trip. Good place to start, well located in Hivernage area. We had a huge family room with 3 bedrooms at a very reasonable price. Swimming pool was small and we suspect one of our kids got an ear infection - it's a good thing to clean... More
