as we approached the riad we were led along narrow, dark streets. i had very low expectations for the riad. thankfully upon arrival i fell in love with this riad. we were greeted with sweet pastries and mint tea. the decorations are stunning. the beds are very comfortable and although a little loud the aircon works perfectly. the owner was... A beautiful riad tucked away from the hustle and bustle but with great access to the souks and the main square. Michèle was a wonderful host, very helpful and always looking after our party. The service was faultless and it was a real pleasure to stay here. I will definitely be coming back if I manage to make it to... More

Absolutely beautiful Riad in a great location. It's an easy 15 minute walk to the souks and the main square. Lovely roof terrace and the pool is very refreshing. Rooms are all air conditioned and the whole place was absolutely spotless. The staff were excellent - always on hand to help and give advice. Couldn't fault it in any way!

This was our first stop in Morocco and was the perfect choice to balance the culture shock of the medina. The staff were attentive, helpful and hospitable. The riad itself was beautiful especially the courtyard pool which was heaven after a hot day trekking around the medina. We had dinner one night at the riad, which was amazing. We walked... More

Not only is the place lovely, exactly as photographed, and the nicest place we stayed the entire time we were in Morocco, but when both my girlfriend and I fell ill with food poisoning after eating something dodgy in a restaurant in the New Town, the owner Michelle and staff went above and beyond to look after us. If I... More

The riad is located in the heart of the medina (old city), only 15 mintues walk from Jameen Fnaa square. It is beautiful, not too big, the rooms are lovely, the staff very nice and helpful, breakfast is awesome and there is a small swimming pool ! It is a perfect address to sped a few days in Marrakech.

Just checking out now from what was a dream stay. Michele made our stay perfect and looked after us so well. Mohammad was always at hand if ever needed. The rooms were great as was the food. The location is in the real part of Marrakech so you get to be one of the locals or 'voisin' as our local... More

I took my mother and aunt here for their first stay at a riad. They absolutely loved everything about it. A hidden gem in the middle of the medina. It was a beautiful thing to wake up and hear birds chirping instead of traffic noise. The staff and owner were amazing and made sure we were satisfied our entire stay.... More

I traveled with a friend to Marrakesh, I left accommodation arrangements to him and even when we got lost several times and it took us more than an hour to get to Riad Alboraq, it is so warm and cozy I felt happy the moment I stepped in and the typical mint tea was in my hand. The neighborhood is... More

Stayed at Riad Alboraq for 6N and 7D. Stayed in the Turquoise room. Nice and spacious room with clean bathroom. The Riad felt very cosy and nice. Tastefully decorated. Though Jama Elfna( the main square) is 20 min to half an hour walk away, a large part of it is through the souks and hence you get to experience the... More
