Just checking out now from what was a dream stay. Michele made our stay perfect and looked after us so well. Mohammad was always at hand if ever needed. The rooms were great as was the food. The location is in the real part of Marrakech so you get to be one of the locals or 'voisin' as our local... More

I took my mother and aunt here for their first stay at a riad. They absolutely loved everything about it. A hidden gem in the middle of the medina. It was a beautiful thing to wake up and hear birds chirping instead of traffic noise. The staff and owner were amazing and made sure we were satisfied our entire stay.... More

I traveled with a friend to Marrakesh, I left accommodation arrangements to him and even when we got lost several times and it took us more than an hour to get to Riad Alboraq, it is so warm and cozy I felt happy the moment I stepped in and the typical mint tea was in my hand. The neighborhood is... More

Stayed at Riad Alboraq for 6N and 7D. Stayed in the Turquoise room. Nice and spacious room with clean bathroom. The Riad felt very cosy and nice. Tastefully decorated. Though Jama Elfna( the main square) is 20 min to half an hour walk away, a large part of it is through the souks and hence you get to experience the... More

Our family of 5 recently stayed at the Riad Alboraq over Christmas for 5 nights. Michelle the owner and her staff lead by Mohammed were really fantastic. We liked the location in the Medina. Our rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed using the living rooms area downstairs. One night our family picked one of the DVDs from their selection and... More

The Riad is well located on the Medina and after you get your head around it, it is quite easy to go back and forth walking to the main square. The Riad is beautiful and has that lovely Moroccan Atmosphere, great shower, welcoming staff, great assistance.

The staff at the hotel are fantastic. Very warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the wifi worked well. However, the facilities leave something to be desired. There was no hot water and it is a very loud hotel. It is directly next to a mosque so the call for prayer at 5ish in the morning... More

Hi, I read your message with a special attention.... and I'm surprised and so sorry.... We've no had hot water problems, and I don't understand why you've it in your room.... In any case, if unfortunately (if it happen's sometimes in the Medina), of course, we're lucky to know professionnal people who can repare quickly the eventual problems.... And of... More

Had a fine stay, but rooms could be better. Especially the doors which are too thin and have an opening on the floorside. You can hear everything and everyone snoring. Also you smell smoke in the rooms. When the swimmingpool is closed all autumn it's less romantic than on the pictures. Staff is very friendly.

Stayed in this lovely little Riad on our last 2 nights in Marrakesh. Despite many of the staff not speaking English they tried their best to make us feel welcome. Enjoyed some mint tea and refreshments on arrival and then we met the wonderful Mme Michelle who gave as an excellent tour round the riad and showed great hospitality towards... More

As soon as you walk through the door, you will find Riad Alboraq a relaxing and welcoming place to be. Michelle, Mohammed and the rest of her staff do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable and tranquil as possible. As others have commented, Michelle's expertise regarding trips out and places to visit is spot on. Our room was... More
