Myself and a friend rented one of the twin rooms in the Riad for 4 nights. We had organised the stay through Trip Advisor and over e-mail with John (the owner). John was extremely helpful, really helped us plan our trip from afar and was an accurate indication of the service we'd receive when we arrived at the Riad. Upon... More

We stayed with 6 persons in this marvelous place in the heart of Marrakech, having a ditto time. The building offers new, modern comfort in a traditional way: we felt really welcome, happy and relaxed. The chaos of the medina is just background noise.

We found riad Ma'ab an incredible experience. Upon arrival the driver brought us to the riad where we were awaited by John and Hussein with tea and cookies. The riad has been beautifully refurbished with original Morrocan/Berber details, it's spacious, light and most of all an oasis of tranquility. It is being kept meticiously clean, the beds and beddings are very... More

Simply put, I was blown away by Riad Ma'ab. It is a new construction, only built a few years ago. But it is painstakingly decorated in all local furnishings and antiques from ALL local artists and vendors. The terrace is so relaxing and inviting - you could go on a trip and just hang out in the riad and be... More

A group of nine of us took over the whole riad for a week. We were all extremely happy. It's a welcoming place to be, with a super-helpful staff. Food can be served in courtyard, salon, or rooftop. Nicely located for wandering around the medina. We also took day trips to the mountains and coast. I warmly recommended this place.

My family's stay at the Riad Ma'ab for three nights over New Year's Eve was just about perfect. We rented the entire riad for a group of five adults and three children under age 6. Hussein and the staff were fantastic -- meals were great, service was very friendly, and they were generally very helpful without hovering. It was great... More

I booked this Riad on recommendation from a friend, quite possibly the best accommodation tip I've ever received. The accommodation itself was, as other reviews suggest, a calm oasis. Everything seems to have been thought of, from the calm lighting, to the enormous bath (I could lie flat and I'm 5'9"). As I'm writing I don't even want to list... More

The Riad Ma'ab and its owner, John, made my stay in Marrakech. The riad was absolutely gorgeous; it was in the Berber style with a large courtyard, an open but private rooftop terrace, and several good sized bedrooms, each with soft beds and plush carpets. The riad itself, however excellent, was not the best part of my stay, however; John... More

I stayed with my husband at Riad Ma'ab for 6 days in late March, 2010. I'd like to say how much we enjoyed staying there. The place was clean, neat, tastefully decorated, and most importantly, was almost right beside the Djemaa el Fna! Hussain and Latifa were really nice and polite. Hussain gladly arranged day trips for us, and even... More
