Riad Massin went from being a two-day stopover destination to becoming my home base in Morocco. I ended up staying there a total of two weeks, on and off. The short version is: Great People, Great Location, Great Price, Beautifully clean place. The details below: 1. Location is brilliantly well connected (next to a main bus station & a food... More

I stayed here for a week in late August to early September. Pros: The two managers Aziz and Brahim are one of the kindest, friendliest most helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They genuinely want to help the guests and no request or problem is too large for them to solve. Their friendship, tireless enthusiasm and... More

The people here really make the riad. Asis and Ibrahim are extremely friendly and welcoming, speak fantastic English and French which can be hard to find in some places. There are also 2 lovely women who work here who can't do enough for you. For the price, the hospitality and the quality of the building I really cannot recommend this... More

Yes I would stay there again, it's better than a hostel/hotel!!! It has great character and a honest feel that I have never experienced staying abroad. Riad Massin has a 'home away from home feeling' that is really welcoming in such a crazy city like Marrakech. Perfect location if coming and going via train or bus and its still close... More

Once inside this Hotel/Hostel, you'll realize what Marrakech is all about. I was welcomed with a hot cup of tea, a map of the city, and lots of smiles. The Riad itself is a genuine moroccan building, and you'll loose some time just admiring it from the inside. Just beware of strangers offering to guide you there: they'll want tips!... More

On january 23rd I visited Hostel Massin in Marrakech for the 2nd time. The staff was so very friendly and made me feel at home again, just as I experienced it last year. The staff is absolutely what makes this hostel stand out. Brahim and Aziz are excellent hosts and will help you out if you have any questions or... More

We recently spent a couple of nights here with some friends and several children ranging from three to seventeen. The riad is lovely with a sunny roof terrace and traditional Moroccan decor. The hosts were delightful, extremely helpful, and very attentive of our children. Beds and rooms were spotless, set around a courtyard and at around £5 per head per... More
