I spent three nights at Riad Alamir in mid-June. This was my first time to Morocco and the riad was a great place to start a ten day holiday. The room was clean, the riad was stylishly decorated in the communal areas, and the welcome and service from staff was warm and welcoming throughout my stay. In particular, Rasheed looked... More

The main reason I am giving this riad 5 stars is due to Rasheed, who runs the hotel pretty much all day. When visiting a foreign country, the most important thing is to be able to see it properly, and Rasheed gave such great advice, was genuinely interested in my well-being and recommended great restaurants, and found us whatever we... The Riad Alamir is set in a peaceful location that is right on the doorstep of the main square and centrally placed for all attractions. The staff are friendly, obliging and extremely courteous, The Riad is kept immaculately clean and the welcoming pot of Moroccan mint tea upon arrival eases the weary traveler into a home away from home. Beautiful little riad in the medina, only a 5min walk from the big square. Great roofterras. The best breakfast of all morrocco, every day they make something different. We were travelling with two little children and Rachid and all of the members of the staff were just the most friendly and helpful people we met. One morning we made a... More

Wonderful managment and staff. Very reliable and accommodating. Rooms were large with nice bathrooms. Easy access to both the old and new city! Would definitely stay again at my next visit to Marrakech! Would highly recommend!

The host and staff of this silent and clean riad was very friendly and kind - we truly felt "taken care of" from the first minute. For travellers who want to stay in the heart of the medina, very close to Djeema El-Fnaa and the (nice, less aggressive part of) souq, this is the place to be. You find some... More

The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. The hotel organised a taxi collection from the airport at a reasonable price which dropped us at one of the entrances to the old city, where someone carried our bags a short (3 minute) walk to the Riyadh. The traditional building with an inner courtyard is pretty, very peaceful and very... More

I travelled 10 times to Morocco in the last years, and Riad Alamir was absolutely the best choice ever done. It was a pleasure to spend there a few days. At the beginning we booked a room for two nights, then we decided to stay longer and we stayed six night in total. Everybody was so nice, like at home.... More

This riad is striking - beautiful courtyard with a pool, rooms with stained glass windows, warmly lit throughout. Also a good location walking distance to the Jemaa el Fna. Downside was that the person who greeted me, while helpful at times, also took advantage at others. When I first arrived and wanted to get something to eat at night, he... More
