I had a very good experience at Dar Loula. The staff is friendly and very helpfull towards all your needs. A very good choice on a budget, it's a hotel that made me feel welcome. The hotel can be quite hard too find for the first time, and we ended up calling the hotel to pick us up from the... More

The warmest welcome I have ever had by a very friendly staff member. He seemed so excited for our arrival and ran around giving us a grand tour of the hotel. Staff were keen to help out at every possible opportunity. We asked for a recommendation of somewhere to go for a meal and the staff were genuinely upset that... More

Riad is quite hard to find and is situated close to the main square but on a busy road where you have to be very carefull when walking.also there is a strange atmosphere around.the riad itself is nice, its smells of dump little bit and if busy, there is no privacy as its hot and there is no other windows or... Being on a budget travelling you never know what your going to get hotel wise. This place has surprised me by its simple beauty. Cheap and 10 minutes from the square! Because its away from the square it's very quite and almost a santuary from all the hot dusty travelling in morocco. Keep a look out when you come by... More

The Riad is situated very close to the El Badi Palace and the top terrace is a great vantage point to see the storks nesting on the ramparts. It is about a 10-15 minute fairly straightforward walk to the Djemaa el fna square. My partner was on his motorbike and was able to park in a secured parking area very... More

I booked this Riad by going on the reviews even if they were slightly mixed. The rooms seemed lovely with a Moroccan look. So thought what the hell and booked it for 3 nights for my other halfs fortieth and am so glad i did. They couldn't have been more helpful as soon as I had booked I received an... More

27-31 Jan 2013. Very Good value Riad. Clean, small, basic breakfast. Excellent position to explore Marrakech, close to the Old Palace Royal, 10-15 mins walk to the Square and the Souks. Some english spoken, Rooms are small ours had two singles, not a lot of storage and got very damp. You can get a small beer £3/4 approx. If you... More

The riad is in Berrima which is only a short distance from the airport and you can easily walk to the main square within 10 minutes. Our twin room was small with very little storage but the beds were comfy and it was cleaned every day. The breakfast was simple - an assortment of bread, fresh juice and tea or... More

This is a sweet little riad with lots of unpretentious character. Beautiful courtyard and roof terrace with views across marrakesh and of the storks that nest on the royal palace a stone's throw away. They can't do enough for you here. The only minor issue (as with anything in marrakesh) is that they really want you to book your excursions... More
