Ih the middle of the city outside the souk we came in the riad because the one we booked was overbooked. We spent three days at Riad Andalusian and it was a wonderful experience. Mr François Cahn was very welcoming and spoilt us with both a fantastic little hotel and kind expert advice on all aspects of cultural tourism in Marrakech. This Riad has been beautifully refurbished and is looked after with care and attention by Francois. It has a wonderful roof terrace and a pool in the patio - you won't get much privacy if you are on the ground floor looking onto the pool, but you really get the feeling of an authentic riad and the location is great... When we told a Marrocan friend (originally from Casablanca) that we planned a trip to Marrakech, she told us we had to stay at the riad 'Andalouse', without a doubt. And she was right every bit!
