The name suggests "Grand". Sadly the hotel is anything but. Great entrance with plenty of space and character but that is where it ends. The hotel is run down and tired. Quite a number of tour companies use this hotel, as did ours. Hence that is how we ended up staying here. If you have the choice yourself, there are... More

Stayed here as part of a tour (1 night at beginning and two at end of tour). The rooms were clean and spacious enough; just a little tired looking. The breakfast was basically just a bread roll, a croissant, a boiled egg and some orange juice - filling but not a great choice. Service was good but rather slow. Would... More

Not very clean but nut very dirty, staff is notvery friendly but not very unfriendly as well... Breakfast is forgetable. At least cheap...If you use a hotel only for sleeping it is ok. Anyway you will spend your time in the city which is amazing :)

We stayed pre and post a trekking holiday in the High Atlas mountains. From the outside and entering the reception area the hotel is everything what could wish for. The staff were courteous and couldn't be more helpful. The coffee shop and restaurant area were spotlessly clean, as was the outside pool area. The hotel kindly looked after additional luggage... I stayed with an organised tour, so not sure of the price. The bed was comfortable, the room was dark. The door onto the balcony didn't lock and when I asked the porter about it, he reassured me that none of the doors lock... The shower flow was pretty ordinary in both rooms I stayed in. The walk to the... More

Stayed here 4 nights in two separate trips. Hotel is close to medina and has a nice patio with pool (not heated). Rooms were clean and large enough. Elevator a bit wonky (had to play with the button to get it to work on 5th floor). Breakfast was good with lots of bread, OJ, and hard-boiled egg. Shower was hot,... More

Stayed at this hotel on arrival and at the end of a tour of Morocco. It's definitely seen better days and is rather tatty and not particularly clean. It's about a 20 minute walk to the main square and the Koutoubia Mosque but that's about it. There are better places to stay.

We stayed at the hotel pre and post climbing Toubkal. After reading some of the reviews I was concerned but actually the hotel is fine. It is not luxury by any means but it is clean and reasonably comfortable. There are a few improvements that could be made, the staff at reception could be more friendly and have some tourist... This hotel showed a lot of promise but unfortunately only just satisfied our basic needs. On arrival we had to change rooms as the balcony lock did not secure the room. There was an attempt to pacify us in confirming that Morocco has no crime but that would not wash with an insurance company. On second visit, one rooms air... More

The place is perfect! Service is nice the rooms are clean. It is totally worth the price. However if you are looking for golden toilet seats please visit different country. It is shame that people are writing poor reviews about this hotel, we can't forget where we are and maybe adjust our expectation.
