This was an ok place to stay, about 15-20 mins walk from Jemaa El Fna (far too long when the temperature reached 40C). Half the staff was very friendly, like the young people in the reception and the bell-man and washing lady, but the rest were always too busy to notice you, or gave you the wrong thing when you... This is supposed to be a 3 star hotel but it is run down & badly needs a makeover. We were offered a room with a 'garden view', which in reality was a bit of waste land where rubbish was being burned! Our toilet didnt flush in the first room we were offered so we changed rooms, only to find... More

Why you would stay here rather than a riad in the centre, I have no idea! We were only here as this is the hotel in which our tour began and ended. Knackered and mostly charmless with some busy roads to cross if you want to walk anywhere.

Only looks le grand from the outside! I have stayed in third world countries at various types of accomodation and I adjust my expectations realistically but there really is no reason for downright laziness and uncleanliness. The bath tub has probably NEVER been scrubbed..I can see the dirt. The toilet...sigh! As with all other reviews, my door to balcony also... More

The name suggests "Grand". Sadly the hotel is anything but. Great entrance with plenty of space and character but that is where it ends. The hotel is run down and tired. Quite a number of tour companies use this hotel, as did ours. Hence that is how we ended up staying here. If you have the choice yourself, there are... More

Stayed here as part of a tour (1 night at beginning and two at end of tour). The rooms were clean and spacious enough; just a little tired looking. The breakfast was basically just a bread roll, a croissant, a boiled egg and some orange juice - filling but not a great choice. Service was good but rather slow. Would... More

Not very clean but nut very dirty, staff is notvery friendly but not very unfriendly as well... Breakfast is forgetable. At least cheap...If you use a hotel only for sleeping it is ok. Anyway you will spend your time in the city which is amazing :)

We stayed pre and post a trekking holiday in the High Atlas mountains. From the outside and entering the reception area the hotel is everything what could wish for. The staff were courteous and couldn't be more helpful. The coffee shop and restaurant area were spotlessly clean, as was the outside pool area. The hotel kindly looked after additional luggage... I stayed with an organised tour, so not sure of the price. The bed was comfortable, the room was dark. The door onto the balcony didn't lock and when I asked the porter about it, he reassured me that none of the doors lock... The shower flow was pretty ordinary in both rooms I stayed in. The walk to the... More

Stayed here 4 nights in two separate trips. Hotel is close to medina and has a nice patio with pool (not heated). Rooms were clean and large enough. Elevator a bit wonky (had to play with the button to get it to work on 5th floor). Breakfast was good with lots of bread, OJ, and hard-boiled egg. Shower was hot,... More
