This is a fantastic riad right in the heart of Marrakech. We were picked up at the airport and dropped off in the square near the riad, because it is in the souks, and the streets aren't big enough for cars. Abdul and Laila were lovely, and there was a delicious complimentary breakfast every morning. If you're in Marrakech, this... More

We decided to stay at the Riad in Morocco, after finding an article in The Guardian and reading the wonderful story that surrounded Le Coq Berber and Le Coq Fou, owned by an Italian. Upon our arrival there, we were greeted by their manager Sabina, who is fluent in several languages, conversing in French, Italian, Spanish and English. She, a... More

This is a small riad in a charming part of Marrakesh. We were picked up from the airport and dropped off at a location near by where a member of staff welcomed us and walked us to the Riad. Rooms are lovely and comfortable. Breakfast is good too. The roof top has plenty of seating to enjoy breakfast in the... More

We spent 3 nights at this riad right in the Medina. The manageress, Sabina, was extremely friendly and helpful. She made lots of recommendations where to eat and what to see. Thanks to her we discovered some truly great places to relax and eat. The room was quiet, overlooking the inner courtyard, the bed very comfortable and it had a nice... More

We stayed for 7 nights in January and really loved it! The roof terrace is incredible, great for lounging and sunbathing when the busy medina gets too much for you. And I still miss the breakfast to this day. Rooms were really nice and cosy and they gave us plenty of blankets as it can get a little cold in... More

Words cannot express the warmth of this wonderful riad. As a welcome we had a warm inviting greeting and smiles from the staff (especially the lovely Leela) and glasses of the most delicious refreshing mint tea. There is a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere at this rustic chic riad where nothing seems too much trouble. Beautiful outdoor living areas and clean... More

We stayed for five nights in February. Elena, Abdel-Azis, Leyla and Fatima looked after us well and were kind and helpful. The riad is simple, but the terraces are lovely to sit on in the sun and you can have your breakfast overlooking the city. We had a meal one evening, wonderful tagine and cous cous, more than we could... More

I stayed at this riad with two friends for three nights. It is very centrally located, and with the excellent directions given to us by the riad's manager we negotiated our way through the souks with relative ease. The riad itself is beautiful and clean, the breakfast on the roof terrace is a highlight. Having a central location does mean... More

It's a really beautiful place. You can feel like being in the countryside, with peace, rest and the sound of the birds! It is well decorated and the terrace is big and awesome. The room (we had one at the first floor) is big enough and well furnished. The breakfast is abundant and good. Close to everything is important in Marrakech. Contact... More

We stayed at Riad Le Coq Fou for three nights and would highly recommend it. We received a warm welcome and regulation mint tea on arrival as well as help with our bags. Our room and the Riad overall were clean, attractive and simply decorated. We shared two rooms with an adjoining bathroom, all of which looked out on the... More
