My husband and I stayed in Riad Slawi for three days, about a week ago. The first thing to understand is that the Medina of Marrakech is a unique experience that should be appreciated for what it is. It's kind of intense and exciting and wonderful in a way you're not going to find at a sterile resort. The second... More

Stayed in Riad Slawi recently on a two night stop-over in Marrakech. Although slightly off the beaten track and navigating the way home could be hairy enough, at first, we had a fantastic time whilst there. Adam the host was totally customer oriented, meeting all of our needs and going out of his way to ensure we had a great... More

I selected this riad based on the trip advisor reviews - and our budget - and was not disappointed. Adam is a very friendly and personable owner/manager and goes out of his way to offer any assistance or advise you may need. Our room, Kaws, on the 1st floor, was lovely. Morrocan in style with an incredibly comfy bed &... More

Stayed here a couple of years ago, and the place is just as fantastic as I remembered. It's an oasis of calm and relaxation away from the crazy hustle and bustle of the souks and medina. Run by Adam and Moustafa (apologies if I've spelt that wrong!), its a beautifully appointed riad. Breakfasts are served in the courtyard, and dinner... More

Riad Slawi is a cozy home with 4 rooms tastefully design in classic Moroccan fashion. It has a well-lit courtyard where traditional, homemade breakfast was served. The best part of the house though is their sitting lounges (just outside the bedrooms) where I would read and write during my down time. But the real gem of the Riad is Adam.... More

Stayed in the Kaws room (twin room) for 3 nights in Feb 2013 Firstly, take up the offer for them to arrange a taxi to meet you at the airport and for someone to take you directly to the riad’s door (about 3 mins walk from where the cars can reach). You’ll be overwhelmed at first thinking you’ll never be... More

Myself, my husband and our 8 yr old son enjoyed the splendid hospitality of Riad Slawi. We were hosted mainly by the Assistant Manager, Mustafa, and thanks to he and members of his family and his referred tour agents we had a fantastic time in Marrakech. The rooms were beautiful and well kept. The Riad is located close to the... More

My wife and I recently spent 4 nights at the Riad Slwai, the service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were comfortable, regularly cleaned. The shower had an abundance of hot water, soaps and shower gel. On our last evening we eat at the Riad, the food was exceptional and definitely the best food we had all... More

We fully endorse what has been said by others, Riad Slawi is superb in every way and is to be recommended on all counts not least for the friendly and helpful service . The highlight for us was the evening meals, which are very carefully prepared tasty and interesting. If you do say here make sure that at least one... More

Small riad, just 3 full rooms and 1 smaller room on the first floor. Immaculate. Completely refurbished less than ten years ago, with much attention to detail. Rooms were long rectangles - bed area, sitting area, front area, bath. Bath was all in stone. Rooms overlook a beautiful fountain and tables. Adam, the proprietor, grew up in Toronto, studied hotel... More
