Arrived from Glasgow to Marrakesh and minibus waiting for 17 charity runners. Location on main road to Jama Al Fina Square, on the other side of Koutobia Mosque and its Gardens. For our marathon start it was a ten minute walk away. Perfect warm up for the start line. First impressions not 4* European Std, but let's see. Check in... More

We booked in here out of the blue after a problem at a riad. Staff were courteous and helpful, booking us in before they had received the confirmation through. Breakfast was a choice of cereals, jams, cheese, breads and patisseries along with eggs, bacon, meats, juice etc - so all in all a decent range included in the price. Hotel... More

Superb central location-only 15 mins’ walk to the famous AL F’naa Square, this hotel is very Moroccan i.e. is friendly, inexpensive but it does have a few quirks. If you want the standardised feel of a famous hotel chain, and you get annoyed by broken floor tiles, loose door handles and the like, then this hotel is not for you.... More

We were a bit unsure about this hotel after reading the reviews on here, but it turned out to be a good choice. It is true that the decor in our room was a bit dated, but it was clean and perfectly comfortable. The only niggle worth mentioning was that the shower attached to the top of the bath rather... This hotel was chosen at very short notice (24 hours). Unfortunately, in haste, due to its proximity to the famous square and the fact it had a pool. It was not until we arrived at the hotel did we realise it catered for the French. Nothing was in English. Luckily, the friendly staff were able to speak some English, but... More

The location of the hotel was very good, as it was right next to katoubia mosque, jamma el fna and various other points of interest too. The hotel itself was quite basic and dare i say a little rough around the edges. but it was ok i guess if you are able to see past this. Wifi connection was pretty... More

The hotel is a a little expensive for what you get. The breakfast is not very good, but although has many optinos, the rooms are a little bit old and the pool is nothing special. But in a country like Morocco and in a city like Marrakech the pool is a bless and you will need it. Location is great... More

The location of this hotel is ideal. It is relatively close to the airport and at walking distance from all the sight seeing hot spots in the Medina. However, for those who want to arrive here by (rental) car, make sure you get the correct address directly from the hotel and not to copy it from the booking site, like... More

The service is ok and location as well but the hotel is very old. The bar is depressing, the buffet is a disaster, all the food looks boiled including the meat... The rooms are badly maintained, no battery in the remote control of the TV and AC very slow to cool down the room. It is a pitty, the place... More

Good point - nice pool Bad points - The staff are unprofessional. Upon arrival, the two women on the front desk were having a huge, angry and loud argument while a number of guests waited for their attention - including us. This is so unprofessional and I have never seen anything like this before - anywhere. When we were finally... More
