We booked the whole riad for a short break, the staff couldn't have done any more to make our stay memorable. They booked airport transfers, restaurants, guides and a trip to the Atlas Mountains. The food was great and although the riad does not serve alcohol Fatima had bought in some wine for us because she knew it was a... more

We hired both the Riad Lorysa and Riad El Zohar ( which is just across the alley) to celebrate our wedding with our friends Having had the civil ceremony of our marriage in England [To keep it legal ] We had a Moroccan ceremony in the riads . You may think what madness trying to arrange a ceremony from England... more

What a shock to walk through the shabby labyrinths of Marrakech and then go through the big wooden door of Riad Lorsya and walk into such a beautiful oasis. The Riad itself was fantastic and so were the staff, couldn't be friendlier. Lovely roof terrace where you can enjoy the winter sunshine. However, if you have not been to Marrakech... more

Great location - a short walk from the main square through the start of the souk. Beautifully decorated with traditional Moroccan textiles etc. Staff helpful and friendly. Only gripe was that the prearranged taxi to take us from the airport to the Riad was overpriced at 15 euros (should be able to arrange for around 7 euros at the airport... more

Our first trip to Marrakech and we had been advised to stay at a Riad in the Medina, not a big hotel on the outskirts. This was absolutely the best advice if you want to experience the sounds, colourful sights and smells (good ones!). After much research, we chose Riad Lorsya and it was perfect, for all the reasons already... more

Riad lorsya is a quiet oasis hidden behind high walls and small alleys. It is ideally located with the souks and main square a short walk away and once you have got your head around the narrow little streets and alleys it is easy to find. They will help you organise trips to the coast and mountains with good drivers.... more

We had a brilliant time in Marrakech, and in just 6 days had a fascinating experience of a very different culture from our own: the people are colourful and vibrant - a bit like the wares in the souks. It's often very chaotic and cacophonous in the Medina. So we thought we were very lucky to be staying at The... more

We stayed three nights at the Riad Lorysa and it was one of the highlights of the holiday. The Riad is in a great location within the Medina. We arrived in Marrakesh at 11pm and were initially a little wary of the location as its down a number of backlanes. However you soon familiarise yourself with the route and I... more

I stayed here twice last week, on the first night in Morocco and one our last night. We had two very different experiences but both times the hotel was amazing. My wife was ill on our second visit (after picking up a bug in another place). The staff are amzing and really looked after us. If you have never stayed... more

My girlfriend and I read the reviews here and saw this place's rank climb as our trip drew closer, so I was eager to stay at this place. It didn't disappoint! The place is beautiful and quiet...the staff was extremely courteous & helpful. The dinner our first night was our favorite meal while in Marrakech. It's about a 5-minute walk... more
