This riad is a haven of peace and fine taste. It enhances the numerous charms of Marrakech (the art, the crafts, the music, the charming people, the enticing food, an ancient civilisation) and provides a refuge from its drawbacks (the heat, crowds and grime and the petty hustle and hassle). Our 6 night stay in May was an unforgettable experience.... More

My wife and I stayed at Riad Camilia for our 25 th wedding anniversary. Just an hour and a half flight time from Lisbon, Portugal. What an amazing and wonderful place to stay. Who would every believe that behind that entrance was such a gem. The staff (all of the without exception) will go out of their way to make... More

This Riad is beautiful and amazingly set out. You can have dinner and breakfast on the roof terrace and each table is set apart from each other so you have your own space amongst the plants and plunge pools. The Riad has been decorated decadently. There is a cool courtyard in the centre and a plunge pool and two small... More

We stayed at Riad Camilia for three nights and had a fabulous time. We chose the Riad because we felt it seemed central, with lots of different guest areas and little pools as well as a beautiful interior and great reviews. We were not disappointed on any count. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, room 3, which was... More

We booked Riad Camilia for our honeymoon on the back of top Trip Advisor reports and we were not disappointed. Nicholas and the other staff are so helpful and friendly. As there are so few rooms you really get top class customer service and plenty of privacy in one of the many nooks and crannies around the Riad. We emailed... More

This is the seventh of eleven riad reviews in Morocco, following the two Fes reviews, and preceding our stay in Ouarzazate. Stayed on 28th to 30th April, 2014. Our string of consecutive number one Trip Advisor rated B&B and inns was broken at our sixth, the Riad Fes. Camilia is rated fifth to seventh in Marrakech; it fluctuated between the... More

We spent 4 nights here with another couple after 3 nights in Fez. Riad Camilia provided a wonderful relaxing environment to which we could retreat after the bedlam and heat of Marrakech became too much. After staying in a wonderful riad in Fez we were not disappointed. We had the large suite on the second floor as nothing else was... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night before doing a 15 day "Riads and Kasbah's" Explore tour of Morrocco and again for 3 nights at the end. What a fantastic find. After staying there at the beginning of our trip, I couldn't wait to get back. It was the highlight of our journey. Initially we were going to... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is a sumptuous and authentic ryad with intact oriental and moorish atmosphere. The owners have invested time and passion to decorate this little palace of the Marrakech medina with wonderful objects and paintings found in local flea markets and antique shops around the world.

The patio (courtyard) is an area of calm and relaxation where you find a small pool. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and one bedroom and a suite overlooking the courtyard from the first floor. Another family suite is available in the douiria of the riad. The master suite is absolutely gorgeous and we strongly advise you to spend a few nights there with your loved one. ... more   less
