You'd expect Marrakech to be exotic - it is. You'd expect the souks to be bewildering - they are. You'd expect the old Medina to be a maze - it is, but you might not expect that behind an anonymous door in a dark narrow alley in the depths of that maze you would find a delightful oasis of peace... Zamzam is as beautiful as all the photos suggest. A real oasis in the Medina mayhem. However, the staff are what really set this place apart (thank you Imane, Faisal, Aziz, and all the other lovely staff.). Imane's background info on the first day was spot on, in terms of where to go, where to eat, what to see, what... More

The riad has been beautifully restored with meticulous attention to detail. Rooms were stylishly decorated and very comfortable. Staff were warm and attentive and the food was excellent. The best place i've stayed in marrakech.

Zamzam is a place like no other! My partner and I travel all over the world and I must say, this place is a gem! The owner, Emma, is wonderful and her assistant, Faysal, is so helpful and accomodating. It is clean, safe, beautiful and gay friendly. We would highly recommend Zamzam and can't wait to come back!

Although frequent travellers, its hard to judge accommodation online and bookings are all made with an element of risk. I planned a trip to Marrakech as a Christmas pressent for my husband so fingers crossed I hoped all would be well. Riad Zamzam exceeded all my expectations and was an absolute delight. The quality and delivery of the whole experience... More

I spent four days at the Riad on a retreat and couldn't fault the service or accommodation. The people were warm and welcoming and created a warm and safe environment for the guests on the retreat - especially as women, several travelling alone. All the food is prepared fresh every day by the kitchen and offers a fresh but authentic... More

Zam Zam riad is a heavenly place of calm set amidst the most stunning scenery in the heart of the medina. The rooms are not simply beautiful but every care is taken to enhance your personal experience. The food at the riad is simply stunning using organic local foods and presented with every care. A place to reflect in our... More

The riad is hidden in a maze in the north of the medina, so it can be tricky to find! Worth it though - a beautiful oasis, well organised, great food, helpful staff. Hope to go again!

We stayed, as a young couple, at Zam Zam Riad from 15-19th December 2010. The Riad itself is amazing, with a lovely sun terrace. Our room was beautiful and we were lucky enough to be the only guests at the time! The Riad is quiet and removed from the noisy centre of Marrakech allowing you to relax. We are quite... More

Zamzam is a lovely place to stay - especially if you're looking for something authentically Moroccan, with high standards of service and comfort. It's beautifuly decorated - a lot of effort went into restoring it; the staff are excellent and helpful, the owners very friendly, and the place is so quiet, which is great if you're looking to escape from...
