The staff at this riad were fantastic. We had a perfect stay with them. Breakfasts were very well catered for and different each day. Freshly baked bread, cakes, crepes, fruit, and the best yoghurt! Rooms are spacious, very clean and large shower cubicle with lots of hot water. Not easy to find, but once inside, bliss!! Very near Djema el... More

Had a lovely time here, it's a beautiful place. The entrance is through an unassuming door (with no sign above the door which is the one oddity) a minute's walk from it's sister Riad, the Riad Balkisse, where my friends were staying. Great location, clean, nice breakfast's and the staff were wonderful and welcoming.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay. The staff was extremely nice and very welcoming. Breakfast was very good and the rooftop terrace is a great place to relax in the midst of a very busy city. There is no door to the bathroom which we found a little odd but I guess its probably a cultural thing and... More

This charming little hotel (2 rooms, I think) couldn't be more central.... bang in the middle of the old town. It is scrupulously clean, the staff are very welcoming and accommodating - breakfast is simple but substantial, and is different each day. Rooms and beds comfortable - I was delighted with my choice!!

Beautiful friendly cosy atmosphere, actually great!! The location is worth searching. On request they cooked us a great dinner (tajine). Early breakfast was made possible for our flight. Great staff. Arranged us a taxi to the airport for the next morning. We also stayed in centre medina, but for relaxed time we would definitly book this for next time! Thanks... More

We decided to give Marrakesh a try and wanted to get a feel for the "real" Marrakesh as opposed to the hotel life style. The Riad is well situated in the Medina near to the main square, the Kasbah and other places of interest. We were glad that the riad arranged to have us picked up as it would not... More

Location was excellent. It is only a 3 to 5 minute walk to the Jemaa El Fna and the souks beyond the square. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was simple but enough to get you through the morning. The view from the terrace was just simply stunning. Mohamed and Yousef were extremely accommodating and friendly. Will definitely come back... More

The Riad I booked had a burst water pipe so while it was being sorted out I had the pleasure of staying at Riad Chalymar for 2 nights. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were very attentive and looked after our every needs. A special thankyou to Abduhla and Aziz for there patience.... More

The owners are dishonest, rude and unwelcoming! The Riad is located down dark, poorly lit alleyways, strewn with rubbish. English is not spoken, making it very difficult to communicate and request or ask for anything!! Breakfast was disappointing, The swimming pool was tiny and full of flies!! The room was dark as half of the lights did not work. The... More

I am Jean-Jacques, Chalymar's owner I've never seen you, I don't know you and I hope I won't because you just bragged about leaving hotels without paying the bill. More

I stayed on my own in October and had a wonderful stay. As arranged a driver was at the airport to meet me in an air conditioned taxi. He took my luggage and straight to the Riad. I'd requested a Lamb tagine as I was arriving late in the evening and was served this on the beautiful terrace by Aziz.... More
