Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. The location is awful! Go to the Jemaa el Fna square in 15 minutes and a million streets and blind alleys, which without a map can't be beat! IN ONE OF THEM I WAS ATTACKED AND MY BAD WAS STOLEN!!!!! The room had no windows, bathroom without door, air conditioning didn't work well, no... More

Once in Morocco you quickly learn to understand finding your way around the old city ( Medina ) is paramount. The people who run this accomodation go out of their way to ensure vistors needs are meet, this ensures the Moroccan experience is memorable and good value for money. I like the way this property advertise an introductory discount for... More

I stayed here with a friend for two nights in October, and paid roughly 50$ in total. The room was nice and tidy, though it still baffles me that the bathroom is so open, not that much privacy with it being a part of the room. It's not the biggest of issues since the riad in itself is so beatiful... More

This has to be one of the best value Riad's in Marrakech. Based on value for money this deserves 5 stars. I have given 4 stars based on it not having restaurants close by and perhaps lacking some of the details we have become accustomed to in the West. That said I have spent 14 nights here and found it... More

We had a wonderful stay at riad dar nael. What the room lacked in size, it made up with the style and beauty. Our hostess, Mezda, was very kind and attentive. It is a very tranquil place to stay in the heart of Medina. Great value for your money. A word of advise though, it's well worth asking them to... More

Stayed in this Riad for 2 nights after a 2 week tour through Morocco and in comparison to many of the places we stayed we found it was good value and would recommend staying there. Pros: - Beautifully decorated rooms which stayed cool during the day (air con was available but we didn't need it). - We stayed in a... More

This was my second visit this year to Marrakesh, first with my husband and children staying in a hotel and this week with my brother in Riad Dar Nael which is a fantastic tranquil place to stay. The proprietors are friendly but never bother you,in fact you hardly see them, but the place is clean and beautiful and the breakfast was different every... We stayed 4 nights here and had a very pleasant experience. We booked airport transfer which we would recommend as taxi driver was waiting at airport on our arrival and took us to riad. Siham met us from taxi and walked us to the riad. Our room was just as expected and location of riad in quieter area of Medina.... More

We appreciated the opportunity to experience the culture by staying in the medina, walking the streets the short distances to the souks, the landmarks, the great plaza. Even getting temporarily lost in the beginning of our stay contributed to our understanding of the community behind the medina walls. We were two women, but we never felt unsafe, even after dark;... Hidden away in the maze of Marrakech medina is the gem that is Riad Dar Nael - behind an innocuous door in a narrow alley that opens out to a courtyard decorated in the vibrant colours synonymous with Morocco! The staff are not too busy to have time for a chat with the guests, and are very informative about their... More
