Riad Lakhdar was the best choice for our trip to Marrakesh. The riad is 5 minutes away from Djemaa el Fna, in a quiet area. It is a very nice place to relax after all the "madness" of the Medina. Our host was very nice. We arranged with him transport from and to the airport. When we arrived we were... More

We loved this little Riad with its pretty features and courtyard. It was very relaxing and chilled and you could come and go as you pleased with no curfew. We thought it was strange that you had to ring the bell each time you wanted to enter and someone would let you in. We would have preferred a key so... More

I have nothing bad to say about this Riad nor its hosts. Good location on quiet street and 10 minute saunter to the Mdina, friendly hosts that will provide tours to the mountains or wherever (and with a sane safe driver), great hammam within premises, Moroccan meals prepared to ones preference, rooms are as advertised, secure access to premises and... I am going to review this Riad with the justice and grace it deserves! Please also see pictures :) Me, my sister and our partners stayed here for 3 nights between Oct/Nov 2010 in the Omkaltoum and Smahan rooms. (http://www.riadjbellakhdar.com/) Set within the ancient walls of the Medina. A brisk walk of not even a mile from the main square,... More

This traditionally-styled riad offers a central location in the medina. It has a courtyard inside with beautiful and authentic architecture, furnishings and atmosphere. There are trees and a fountain inside the courtyard, from which all the rooms open out. Little birds called house buntings fly about freely and are quite tame and a joy to watch. The accommodation is clean,... More

Traveling as a party of 3 we opted for the €16 airport transfer, which albeit overpriced probably saved us the hassle of fumbling about with reservation print outs and maps. Lakhdar Riad is situated a brief 5 minute walk from the main square, Djemaa el Fna. The Riad itself is has all the Moroccan charm and remains cool despite the... More

This was a very nice, typical Moroccan Riad. The owner picked us up from the airport for 12 euros and gave us mint tea on arrival. There were cheaper options on the internet but I would say that what we paid (£21 a night) was worth it. The rooms were nice and we even had air conditioning- which I think... More

After much searching for where to stay on various sites, found and booked the Riad through Hostelbookers. The trip was for my partners 40th, and we were joined by a friend who has been wanting to go to Marrakech What a great location - 5 minutes walk from Jemma el Fna (the main square) within the medina. A quiet location,... More

Me and my wife spent 2 wonderful days in Riad Lakhdar. This is only the second review of this Riad in Tripadvisor, but you have plenty of them at hostelbookers. com - and all of them are good :) Location is optimal for the persons who want to find easily their Riad. The riad is located just at the beginning... More
