The owner took us from the airport to the Riad. He was very kind and help us a lot. He offered us a tour to the desert (3 days 2 nights) for 80€. It was amazing for the price. He also offered us to keep our luggage during the tour and all went OK. He is a honest man.

Riad lakhdar Staying at Riad Lakhdar was one of the highlights of our 3 week tour of Morocco. Our relationship with Mahjoub, the charming owner, started long before our arrival in Marrakech. He is a very resourceful person who tirelessly provided us with lots of very useful pre-trip information. By the time we met, it was as if we had known... More

Really, so lucky we picked this Riad - so many others are buried in the medina in little winding streets or they are in the middle of the souks so no peace! This Riad is the perfect place to stay - 5 minutes walk from the main square, just two streets over, so really near to everything but so tranquil... More

I learned the term riad means a building with a central open courtyard. I like the riad style. The Riad Lakhdar is owned by a Moroccan man who studied business at NYU and lived in New York City for 20 years. He is very familiar with American ways and speaks excellent English and offers many helpful tips when visiting Marrakech.... More

We have just returned from very enjoyable 6 day stay at Riad Lakhdar. The airport transfer arranged via the Riad was well worth it. As others have said, the location of the Riad is excellent, with only a short walk to the Souks and Main Square, with the alternative of walking to the new town (15/20mins) for a change of... More

Beautiful inner courtyard with really friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the awesome breakfast on the roof terrace. Nice abs well kept rooms with a typical local flair. All the important sights are in walking distance (max 30 minutes) Absolutely recommended.

I found this to be a friendly and comfortable budget riad, just out of the busy center. It's a short walk to the main square, but can still be reached by car (it can take a long time meandering through the souks to find some of Marrakesh's riads) The room was spacious and comfortable as was the bathroom. The beds... More

Location; by walking less than 10 minutes from Djemaa al fna , cleaning , personnel hospitality and smiling, comfortable and rooms include private bathroom and toilet. Decoration is also better than others. Breakfast is really satisfying and it is more than we expected. Wi-fi free. Rooms and the riad are really oriental good decorated. You will be loved.

we stayed here for a week in October and loved every minute of it. The riad was relaxing, visually stunning and in the perfect location for everything you'd want to do in the city. The staff were excellent making recommendations and booked us into an excursion into the Sahara. Our bedroom had everything you needed and we were served breakfast... More
