Grant & Michele are fabulous hosts, happy to help always and made us feel like we were at 'home'. Food also outstanding and tapas on the terrace an absolute dream. Made our honeymoon an experience never to be forgotten and hopefully made some life long friends! We will be back on our wedding anniversary to relive our Moroccon adventure with... More

My partner and I recently spent 7 nights at the Riad Assakina. The Riad itself is a beautifully rebuilt and restored building and wonderfully decorated - interior design is fabulous - Michele the owner sources real craftsmen and has all the lights etc made specifically for the Riad. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. When we pulled up outside... More

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay and fabulous hospitality at Riad Assakina, which allowed us a real introduction to Marrakech. We felt very lucky to have stayed in such a beautiful property, we wanted for nothing and cannot think of any suggestions to improve the guest’s experience – Grant and Michele have thought of everything. The attention to detail... More

We spent 3 nights here, and this was one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakech. The Riad is wonderfully decorated, very clean, very comfortable, and very quiet (the exact opposite of what is outside the door). But, the absolute best part of staying here was the fabulous staff. All of them were fantastic, courteous, always smiling and willing... More

This Riad is truly an oasis of calm amidst the chaos of the city. The hospitality of the hosts and the whole team is outstanding. The accommodation and outside space is of a very high standard and even though we ate at some of the best restaurants the meal we had in house at the Riad was by far the... More

Having done quite a bit of research before booking this trip, Riad Assakina seems to us like one of the very best riads in town. With great value for money, all the comforts of home, and a location very close to many of the main sights in the medina, it made for an amazing 3-night-stay and we would always come... More

When ordering, for some reason through booking.com (better options are to order directly at their website), we immediately got a friendly and informative e-mail, and arranged for pick-up at the airport. Some days before our stay we again received an e-mail, and were informed that due to unforeseen events the hosts would not be there during our stay, but that... More

Recently stayed at the Assakina for a short 3 night break and I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough. The rooms are amazing, with a great roof terrace. The staff are so friendly and attentive, it really does feel like a home from home, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, and it was a perfect 'calm'... More

Riad Assakina made us feel very much at home and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It is a small Riad with about six rooms. There is a lovely sun terrace for relaxing after sightseeing. Lovely breakfasts, afternoon mint tea and cake offered at any time. No complaints at all but just a few observations. Tea making facilities would... More
