We stayed here for a few days in May and had a wonderful experience at Riad Elizabeth. John replied to all emails swiftly and arranged for a taxi to collect us upon arrival. The riad is situated amogst a winding path in a local area so I would definitely arrange a taxi via John. Once we arrived, we were then... More

What a hospitable and atmospheric base from which to explore Marrakech! On a first visit to the city with a friend, we enjoyed the riad's roof deck every night, tea at all hours, Rachid's indispensable advice, and even a dip in the pool! The rooms are quiet with air conditioning, which is necessary after a long day in the medina... More

Rachid & his team looked after us beautifully!! My 21 year old daughter and I stayed for 3 days as a belated birthday treat for her and loved this peaceful oasis just 5 minutes from the souks... The room, the breakfast, lovely rooftop... Elegant, tranquil luxury... It was all perfect. Rachid even arranged for a henna artist and hairdresser to... More

Because of John's email responses to my myriad questions, I felt as though I had a new friend before my daughter and I arrived(with faultless transfer arrangements)at 9:30PM to a very warm welcome. Both of us have mobility problems and it was no trouble for John and staff to arrange tours and taxis every day.The riad is full of charm but... I chose this Riad based on it's name but got SO LUCKY! John took care of me like I was a member of his own family. The room was gorgeous and provided everything I could have wanted. I hope to return to Morocco and will definitely stay here again - and I've recommended it to everyone I know. I've never... More

Riad Elizabeth was the perfect choice for our first (and hopefully not last!) visit to Morocco! When we travel domestically (all of our travel until this major trip), my husband and I prefer to stay in unique B&Bs and local inns. We wanted to capture the same distinct experience in Marrakech while still having a sense of comfort and security,... More

My wife and I stayed a night at this fabulous riad. The riad itself was beautiful with a real authentic feel to it. This is the real thing and was like stepping back in time. The place was spotless, food authentic and was a wonderful experience. Riad Elizabeth is located in the quiet narrow streets of the old Medina yet... More

John was a great host, even before we arrived. As soon as we had booked, he emailed to us arrange our transfers to the Riad. Although we arrived late at night, there were some beautiful Moroccan salads waiting for us on the terrace. We were made to feel not just very welcome, but at home. John's recommendations on places to... More

I stayed at Riad Elizabeth for 3 days as a solo traveler and I can't express enough how incredible John and the staff were. Between car transfer arranged at the airport, a gorgeous glass of wine waiting when I got there, and a group of fun guests to hang out and explore with, I felt like I was "home" immediately... More

Although we only stayed for 4 nights, we really grew to love the bustle of Marrakech. At first it was quite daunting, but John, the owner, talked us through the pitfalls and showed us the highlights of the city. After 2 days of getting used to the maze of alleyways and streets, we began to feel at home and after... More
