This Riad has two things going for it... location and cleanliness. It is not as advertised. There is no bar, no restaurant, no complimentary transport from the airport, no spa, etc... There was very little (5 minutes) of hot water for my shower. There are no locks on the doors to the rooms and no safes either. Breakfast consists of... More

We recently returned from a 5 night stay st this Riad after checking it out on tripadvisor and booking 2 suites in September 2013. We had also booked transfers from the airport and were pleased to be told that our driver would be parking the bus and walking us to our Riad. We arrived at the Riad after approx a... More

We have nothing but praise for this family-run Riad. It is in the old part of Marrakesh so we knew it would be more guest house than hotel. The decor is delightful, many colours, patterns and textures with lovely metalware and pottery ornaments. Our hosts Kenza and her husband Didier could not have been more welcoming or helpful - they... More

Booked this based on the reviews and the description, Bar , restaurant, steam room , terrace NONE of which existed. No door locks which could be of concern,to get in you need to ring the front doorbell so as the bolts can be thrown and the door opened, not so good if you are sleeping and someone wants to come... This is tough to review as it is our 4th stay in Marrakesh so we had expectations; and also knew a little of the area. We were here for a week over New Year to include 3 days of golf - in the end we stayed 4 nights here and then moved to a larger, more comfortable place (maison des... More

What can you say about a place where you don’t know and what to expect, but this beautiful Place took all this worry away from us, i was blown away by the service and hospitality. All hotels in this world need Kenza; Kenza is your host, meter greater, local knowledge guild, waiter, someone to talk to, everything you can thing... More

My boyfriend and I visited Riad Sacr for a 5 day break to Marrakech and would highly recommend this wonderful riad to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming base in Marrakech! Situated right in the heart of the medina, Riad Sacr is a beautiful riad with the most incredible host, Kensa. We arrived late on our first day to be... More

I stayed here for three nights and was welcomed by Kendra and a big glass of Softdrink. She welcomed us like we were old friends and talked to us for an hour. About herself and Marrakesh. Her husband walked with us to a cheap little restaurant (seriously, you can get a 3-course meal for less than 3 Euro/person) and showed... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in this gorgeous Riad for a week in September. We were overwhelmed with the hospitality both Kenza and Murad showed us during our time here - unfortunately for us we both got really ill from one of the restaurants, and subsequently, were both bed bound for 3 days. Kenza went above and beyond for us... More

We stayed in this Riad in May 2013. Great value for the location - could hardly be more central. In old medina. Very-very colorful place. We were in Blue room. Décor is great. Bathroom's shower, however, did not have hot water. Very skimpy continental breakfast. Hotel's manager (maybe owner too?.. not sure) was friendly, good English. Helped us to arrange... More
