Booked Riad Douceur Mandarine after reading Tripadvisor's reports. Stephane was very helpful, organising our taxi transfers and booking a 4x4 trip to the Atlas Mountains. Our first impression was: the guide has made a mistake this can't be the right one. It does look like a boutique hotel and also performs at this level. Decoration is delightful and the owners go to every possible extent to pamper you. This includes making arrangements for both arrival and departure and meals. The Riad, which is located in the Media, was fantastique! A lovely, family atmosphere! We were always enjoying our breakfast on the terasse - it didn't matter when you could always have breakfast (7 a.m. or 2 p.m.) - one of the advantages of our stay. The Riad Doucer Mandarine, was the best hotel where we stayed in all Morocco. It has a terrace that has a wonderful view of the city and the Koutoubia, the rooms and the bathrooms are beautiful and clean and the beds are incredibly comfortable. This small riad is located in a great location in the walled Medina. The problem is that the manager is a complete jerk and he believes that you as the guest are a complete pain in his existence. We booked weeks in advance and on the booking form they requested an arrival time. We told them the train would arrive... more

Perfect servise and decoration....We have a amaizin time in Marrakesh, Stephan the owner went to pick us up from the Airport and wait for us during 2 hours as our fly was late...arriving to the Riad we have our dinner waiting for us...next moring all the usefull information about the city was give it to us by Stephan.
