We have booked this place only a month ago as it was very good for value, had good reviews and it was very central ( only 3 minutes walk from the souks) .. The place felt so friendly and welcoming , the breakfast was fantastic and the little swimming pool on the ground floor was just what we needed after... More

This is a great hotel. The decor is pretty and traditional. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and very peaceful. The staff are very attentive and kind. I really recommend this hotel if you want to explore the Marrakesh nightlife. Unlike many Riad's, it has good access to roads for the taxis. I traveled alone, so this really made my trip.... More

Dar Choumissa is not very easy to find, but quiet, even if it is inside the Medina. I really liked the interior design. Its simple, but beautiful. They have a pool, but in the winter its to cold. In the night it was a bit cold, but they provided us with warm blanket and hot-water-bottles. Unfortunately the hot water was... More

I wanted to find an inexpensive riad very close to Jamaa el Fna and this fit the bill. It's on a nice quiet little side alley, but just a few blocks from shops and restaurants as well as the Bahia and Badii Palaces. The building itself is quite pretty with a nice rooftop garden and a plunge pool in the... More

This riad is perfectly located, it is in the medina area, very close to Jamaa el Fna but it is extremely quite and you cannot here any noise from outside. The breakfast was ok and the manager was really nice. The wifi did not work in our room so, in order to use it, we had to go to the... More

What can I say - we have been back a day and, whilst my body is in the UK, my head is still in Morocco. Marrakech is a "full on" city, my partner and I will never forget our first time in the main square last Saturday evening with snake charmers, dancers, food stalls, souks and lots of noise and... Perfectly located in the centre, but in a quiet part of the Medina. You can hardly believe the madness that is going on outside in the silence of this tranquil Riad. The manager, Tariq, was unbelievably helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. We didn't need luxury, as we were out all the time, but it was nice to... More

We went for a short winter break and were very pleasantly surprised that although this riad was clearly not the most expensive, it was just superb value and with a manager who was the epitome of good service and assistance. The room was very clean and basic and the ambience of the riad was complemented by the fact that it... More

Quirky, basic guest house. The rooms are basic and the bathrooms have no doors so if sharing with a friend may not be to your requirements. The bed was very comfortable although would have been better if twin beds had been available as we were 2 friends on a short break. The holiday break included half board although we were not... Stayed at Dar Choumissa the past two nights and I must say I was very impressed!! My sister and I arrived into Marrakech very late and did not get to the hotel until 1am, which you can imagine was a little daunting. The hotel is down a small alley that the taxi driver directed us down. We were greeted straight... More
