This riad is literally 2 minutes walk to the bustling djeema El fna so the perfect location for everything. Perfectly calm, chilled and relaxed which is amazing as the chaos of the brilliant djeema is so close. You can't hear anything but the singing birds :-) We managed to get a glimpse of most of the rooms which was lucky... More

We wanted somewhere different to go over New Year and we found it! The Riad is lovely and Souad, Mohammed and the rest of the staff were great and very informative. The first night's orientation was very useful - we still got a bit lost but hey that's part of the experience! Some people on here moan about the general... More

Spent 5 great nights at this lovely traditional riad with all the mod cons you need. Absolute oasis behind a wooden door that gives you little clue of what lies behind. Just 5 mins walk from the main busting and somewhat mad square. Easy to refind once you have got your initial bearings - would advise taking up the riads... More

Absolutely what a Raid should be; traditional feel and style but with absolutely all the modern comforts added. Perfect. The staff, especially Said and Mohammad, could not be more helpful and friendly and speak English. Nothing is too much trouble and you'll want to take them back home with you! Wonderful food by the resident cooks and brilliant location, just... More

Once you find it, the location is perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot and powerful. The rooftop terrace is a perfect place to relax and unwind and the courtyard is gorgeous! My 4 friends and I had the most amazing night here and would happily stay there again!

Arrived in a pretty sorry state after trekking in the mountains for 4 days but were treated like princess's. Had fabulous spa treatments then enjoyed a home cooked meal in our bath robes....pure heaven! The staff made us feel so welcome and safe. Sauod was a perfect host, gave us lots of tips for sightseeing, arranged a guide and personal... More

The Riad itself is a great way to sample life in the old city. It's down a couple of alleyways and is very quite and secluded. It's also surprisingly easy to find again (once you've been shown on the map) and although located down some quiet street it's perfectly safe to walk back to no matter what time of day... More

After a day in Marrakech - the noise! The heat! The scooters! The cobras! - Le Rihani was our oasis of calm, and breakfast in the courtyard was the perfect way to start each day. Service was impeccable, and all arrangements (airport and driver to and from Essaouira) booked thru the Riad were handled efficiently, flawlessly and reasonably priced. Restaurant... More

We travelled to Marrakech as a group of four to celebrate my 40th. From start to finish, we could wish for better service. As four ladies travelling on our own, Samir and Mohammed made sure we went out with a local mobile phone with their number and organised taxis to/from restaurants etc so we felt so safe at all times!... Dear Jo, Kim, Julie and Kerry, It's always a pleasure to receive groups of friends, to celebrate a birthday. It was also a pleasure for all the staff to meet you and help you to organize your stay. I want to thank you for your kind comment concerning our service. I hope to see you a next time in Marrakesh!... More

It was my birthday break, six ladies and I couldn't have chosen more wisely. Le Rihani was almost a private oasis from the escape of the crowded, busy, hustle and bustle of the vibrant square in the middle of Marrakech. The colours, tranquility, smells and calmness within the walls of Le Rihani made you want to kick off your sandals... More
