We stayed three nights at Riad Dar Beldia and were thrilled with the accomodation. The riad is located in the southern end of the medina, about a 10 minute walk from the Jemma Al Fna square (sp?). We had the Riad arrange to pick us up from the airport, which is probably the easiest way to find the riad. Once... more

When we arrived in the riad the manager (Youssef) gave us a cup of Marrocan tea and told us where to go and what to see in Marrakech. We felt really welcome. The staff is very relaxed; they do whatever you wish, they show interest in the guests and we could (for example) get our own drinks from the fridge... more

This is an ideal Riad for single travellers as well as couples. The welcome is outstanding with tea on the upper terrace, being allowed into your room as soon as you arrive and also being able to keep it when travelling out late evening. The staff could not do enough for us Yossef is a darling and a mind of... more

I have just got back from 4 night work trip to Marrakesh and a colleague and I stayed in this guest house. I have to say that my experience of this place is very different from the last reviewer. I found it a lovely, clean, authentic and well located little hotel. The staff are great, all very helpful and Laurant... more

I was in this Riad in December 2008. We have chosen this Riad because it was a 5 stars, with indoor heated pool, full breakfast and central location. The truth is that it is for me unclear why the owners think that their inn is 5 stars: - The room was very cold, - the air conditioning was broken and... more

the rooms are not large but tastefully decorated and only being a few rooms in the riad preserved the peace (having stayed in a larger one the echoing construction can be anything but peaceful). heating was appreciated on the occational cold day- basically if its cloudy in winter. the staff were excellent- very attentive to the point of overkill-encouraging you... more

I stayed here with my boyfriend in January 2009 and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The Riad was spotlessly clean and had great bathrooms and breakfast's. There was a sunny roof terrace with great views. We had no problems whilst staying at this riad. more

Reserved on-line for 2 nights. When we checked in they tried to put us in the tiniest of rooms right beside their office/reception. We refused as were paying €65 per night+tax. The Begian woman owner left us to argue with their Moroccan employee and he hummed and hawed and said that if we want another room it would cost us... more

I found the Dar Beldia on Laterooms.com and was impressed by the pictures and the excellent reviews on that site. I contacted the owners, Laurent & Nathalie, directly by email, received a swift and friendly response and decided to book. Laurent was very helpful and arranged a taxi transfer from the Airport for me in the early hours of the... more

We recently returned from a trip in Morocco which was great. On our first night in Marrakesh we stayed at Dar Beldia. We were met promptly at the airport as arranged ,by our taxi driver and Laurent from Dar Beldia. On arrival, we were made feel very welcome by the friendly staff, especially our fantastic host Laurent, who truly made... more
