Our 4 night stay in Marrakech was considerably enhanced by Hamid and his team for whom nothing appeared to be too much trouble, including the wonderful meal we were given on the evening we arrived. Hamid was exceptionally helpful in organising trips and taxis . All arrangements made by him were faultless. Excellent suites and a beautiful roof terrace which... More

Fantastic stay in this beautiful riad. We found the staff to be charming, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were made very welcome, our suite was stunning, the food incredible. Marrakech is a busy chaotic city and the Alhambra is an Oasis of peace in the middle of it all. Would definitely book to stay there again and... More

We've just returned from 5 fabulous days & nights at Dar Alhambra. Hamid, Aziza and Fatma are excellent hosts - relaxed, engaging, and happy. It really is like one big family - guests just don't disappear to their rooms, the relaxing atmosphere and style of this beautiful Riad encourages guests to chat & share hidden gems & discoveries. This entry to the riad is just a door in a wall, but once you move inside you will find a large cool building decorated in beautiful traditional style. The pictures on the website really don't do justice to the beauty of this Riad. The rooms are large and It is a joy to wake up in a comfortable bed.... More

We booked our holiday to Marrakech to celebrate my 40th with my 5 best friends. We had two rooms, 1 for 2 of us and the other for 3. The rooms were lovely and our whole experience was magic. Hamid with Aziza and Fatna were wonderful and catered for all our needs. Whatever we wanted, we just had to ask... More

We stayed two weeks with Hamid, Aziza and Fatna - it's more like a family home in a 1363 palace (with superb intricate workmanship) than a hotel. Yes, that is a 650 years old building! Bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely well presented in the Marrakesh style. We had half-board and all the evening meals were great Moroccan dishes, cooked to perfection,... More

Dar Alhambra is a beautiful riad, & the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Whenever we asked for food (remember this isn't a restaurant so above & beyond the standard B&B we booked for) we were served the most delicious cuisine from Aziza & Fatima. Hamid who runs the place ensured we were collected from the airport (make sure you... More

The Riad Dar Alhambra is a beautiful building staffed with caring attentive staff that provides a calm oasis amongst the chaos of the souks. Behind the modest looking entrance door lies a tastefully decorated, traditional building with all the modern facilities you may need. The level of detail attended to in the decor is a sight to behold, with beautiful... More

We stayed 1 night in Riad Alhambra in June 2013. The owner is very nice and is always happy to help you. We came straight from the airport and if you know Marrakech a little bit it is very easy to find and well situated in the Medina. Do not let yourself be "guided" by a young person. Ask your... More
