Absolute awesome, food was Devine, and overall very clean, the surprise factor is how it looks inside . The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will for sure bring the family here for a vacation. Pricing was a winner as I was only requiring a room for the night!

The riad is beautifully and sophistically decorated, and is a peaceful place to return to after a day in bustling Marrakech. The staff were wonderful (brush up on your French before you go though). The meals that I had were perfectly prepared. Coffee was pleasantly spiced. Hamid was kind enough to get me some coffee so I could continue to... More

I followed advice from other reviewers and asked Hamid to organise a pick up from the airport - which was perfect; we'd never have found the riad otherwise. Like most riads, you escape the bustling street into a cool, exquisite courtyard of tiles and intricately carved plaster walls. Simply stunning. We were given mint tea and hospitality before taken to... More

We were a part of 5 (including 2 small children) and we stayed at the Riad for 5 nights. We were picked up from the airport and driven straight to the riad. As it was late, we had our luggage taken to our rooms and went to to sleep pretty much straight away. The following morning we were provided with... More

We spent very nice 4 nights in this hotel. Hotel is very good located when you want to visit the soucks and all the surroundings of the old city . 7 minutes away from the big place Jemma el Fnaa. No need a taxi to take. Employees at the hotel are very helpful and room was very charming. I recommand... More

Fantastic 6 night stay at this beautiful riad in the medina. Superb, friendly staff; nothing was too much effort. The room was beautiful, freshened up everyday and spotless. Breakfast was simple but lovely. We had a meal on the terrace one night and that was delicious. Hamid arranged our taxis, recommended places for us, booked excursions for us; so helpful... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Alhambra - it was a great experience of its own. The Riad is just beautiful- the salons at the ground flour are decorated in a traditional morrocan way- the magical fountain in the middle of the courtyard gives it a very relaxing atmosphere- you can admire the ornaments, mosaic and details of every object... We arranged a transfer from the airport via email and this all worked perfectly. As we were driving up to the riad, it was like we had stepped back in time. Hamid the owner met our taxi and then walked us to the door. We could not believe the tranquility behind the door of the frantic Medina and our first... More

The Riad is visually pleasing and was everything we expected to find with a Riad. Peace and quiet from the busy medina and a lovely place to relax after days in the Souks and exploring the City. The room we had was lovely, a good size, and although situated right next to the mosque which provided a daily alarm at... More

My wife and I visited the riad in March 2014. We looked a for a long time for an authentic riad in a central position. The riad itself was lovely - as expected, the staff friendly etc. We arranged to be collected from the airport and taken to the riad as we landed in the evening. Glad we did as... More

Magnificent 16th-century Riad, a haven of peace in the very heart of the Medina, lovingly restored in the pure Moroccan tradition - painted cedar ceilings, sculpted stucco, zelliges, marble floors...Impeccably clean, all rooms with private bath, and air conditioning. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Superb 360 view of the Medina, the Koutoubia and the snow capped Atlas mountains.
