We stayed in the Bali room after a month studying in Meknes! The riad feels like an oasis away from the bustling souks of the medina. It is somewhat difficult to find and you will be accosted by "helpful" guides trying to show you back to where it is for pay but you just have to be insistent. We managed... More

Entering a riad is entering a little palace. We were staying in a room on the second floor and it was just beautiful! We really enjoyed the riad together with the other Belgian guests and even the personel, lovely people! We went over there in august 2013 and it was hot, on average 40-45°C so the roof terras wasn't used... More

I visited this Riad with a friend for a traditional hammam treatment and was not disappointed. Treatment was excellent and the staff lovely. Location not great and we were lucky that our taxi driver did not leave us until we were safely inside the riad. Because of dark, insecure alleyways which lead to the riad, would not recommend female travellers... More

Stayed for a week in March 2015, wonderful room and atmosphere, very attentive and polite staff. The location is daunting at first but once you have found your way through the maze of streets and lanes it adds to the overall holiday experience. We only had breakfast which was served on the roof top area as we ate out during... More

My husband and I and 18 year old son spent 5 days and nights here in mid May. We stayed in Marrakech as our base and did wonderful day trips into the Atlas Mountains. We had a wonderful time here and recommend this Riad highly. When travelling we always do our homework and have realistic expectations. Some people's comments on... More

Hotel is quite low standard and in a very inconvenient location. Difficult to even talk about a SPA considering the high standard of other SPA's in Morocco. Hotel desperately needs renovation. Neither the service nor facility is inline with its rates. We moved off to another nice Riad although had to pay for the rest of our reservation at this... More

My wife and I visited the Riad for a Spa experience - she was the veteran that encouraged me! Our taxi journey through the back streets of Marrakesh were a little discovery all by themselves with the twists & turns of the streets adding a little excitment pre Spa.We were then led by our taxi driver through the winding streets... My wife and I visited the Riad for a spa experience and we're not disappointed. Our taxi journey through the back streets of Marrakesh felt like something out of a 70's James Bond movie. We were then led by our taxi driver through the winding streets and dark alleys to the Spa. The building was exquisite, detail amazing and quite... More

We stayed at the Riad Esprit du Maroc in August 2014 and while the property had been sold to us as a 5 star Riad – with photographs on the website suggesting a stay with a touch of luxury, sadly this was not the case when we arrived. The hotel probably did look like the photographs on the website one... More

Excellent but needs better breakfast, better wifi signal, a mini bar, and a proper king size bed (we had two single beds put together). The riad itself is beautiful and clean and the people working there are lovely. The riad is very close to the Ben Yousef Mosque and only 15 mins walk (through the souks) to djemaa el fna.... More
