Very much enjoyed the stay in a beautiful decorated room. Great roof terrace with 360 looks of the city. Very friendly staff. Excelent food. They were finsishing construction of expansion of the Riad while we were there, but that has been finished by now so it experience will even be better. It is rather expensive, but if you want to... more

My husband and I stayed at the riad and spa Esprit du Maroc for 7 days to celebrate his 50th birthday at the end of January/early Feb 09. The Riad was beautiful and the staff could not have been more attentive. On our arrival we found Rose petals were sprinkled in the room, the room was large with a lovely... more

We stayed here during a week to relax after a busy period at work. We arrived on sunday morning (the 4th of februari). When we arrived, one of the staff very enthusiastically (and quite assertively/pro-actively) drafted a proposal with activities during our stay. On Sunday, this included lunch at the restaurant (3 courses, 300 dirham per person, this was roughly... more

This is a warm, welcoming, and beautiful riad which is owned by a lovely young Franch family that lives in Marrakech. Each room is uniquely and tastefully decorated by the owner. The staff is attentive, warm and caring and quickly learned our individual tastes and always made sure we did not want for anything. They explained customs and facts about... more

We three ladies have lived a fairytale of five days. Riad can be found in the centre of Marrakech, In the middle of the heart of the old Medina. It's a short distance from ''Jemaa El-'Fna" square and many other curiousities. The reception of the owners was most warm and hospitable. The stay in this Riad is a unique experience.... more

We booked this Riad after careful consideration and scrutiny and all photo's of the Riad make it appear very appealing. In reality when we arrived it is shabby and smelly. We had booked a room for three adults but it was totally unsuitable. The very steep staircase to the loft bedroom was scary and dangerous. The staircase to the terrace... more

We spent three days based at this beautifully restored Riad which is an oasis of calm tucked away at the end of an alleyway but only a few seconds walk from the pulsating hustle and bustle of the medina and 15 minutes from the main square. On arrival you think you will never find your way to and from the... more

The Riad Esprit du Maroc is a wonderfully beautiful hotel, oozing with charm, and staffed by personnel who made you feel not only like welcomed and pampered guests, but like members of the family. Breakfasts were served on the panoramic rooftop, while delicious pre-selected dinners were served in the warm glow of the interior courtyard around the shimmering aquamarine blue... more

Booked our 2 nights via email to the riad. No problems. Arranged to call the hotel via cellphone when arriving at the airport in Marrakesh, and a car would deliver us right to the door of the riad. It did, via grand taxi (big old mercedes) and delivered us right to the door. No snags. Get the pick-up service if... more

We booked for four nights which we had to pay for up front but only stayed for two. Firstly the transfer we booked did not meet us at the airport - a relatively minor problem. The location of the riad means that it is very difficult to find your way back to and is a fair walk from the main... more
