Another late review. We stayed for one night At Zahrat Al Jabal Hotel during our short trip to Fez. We decided to stay outside the Old City (Madinah) for more flexibility in terms of transport. The lady at the reception speaks good English but the rest of the hotel staff can only communicate in French, Moroccan or Arabic. However, their... More

Hotel is a wonderful small hotel with great ambience.Reception is small but coffee lounge adjacent to it is a great place to relax or enjoy a snack. Only 2 lifts serving all the floors,is a snag becuse you wait long when checking your luggage to rooms or going down or up. Upstairs breakfast room has a fantastic view if surrounding... More

the rooms are cleaned every day, the beds are good and breakfast/ variety was more than we expected! And the service is good! In front of the hotel there is a terrace with a view on the street, you can drink and eat something here. Our taxi (we arranged it ourselves) didn't show up at 3 in the morning.... we... More

If you like being snapped at, spoken to rudely, being given rude looks and treated as though you are an inconvenience - then stay at this hotel! Travelled to Fes with my family and stayed at this hotel in July 2011. On arrival at the reception and the receptionist told me that they didn't have record of my booking and... More

First time to FES and this sounded like an okay place to stay. Starting off the staff were not all to helpful. The room is as small as a postage stamp. The shower and bathroom are so small that water runs into the room and it floods. We were told there is free parking - right - anywhere you can... More

A good-value modern mid-range hotel situated in the relaxed and pleasant new town of Fez. I booked in advance, online via Gala Hotels, for just £31 per night for bed and breakfast. Extremely clean ensuite rooms, with shower (no bath). One of its features is the restaurant on the 6th floor which doubles up as the breakfast room, with its... More

For the first time in Morocco, Fes is a good place to start exploring the country and this hotel is conveniently located in the new city at only a couple of minutes away from Medina with le petit taxi :) with only 1 euro for the ride. Overall is a good hotel for a 3 star rating and is more... More

A great affordable and luxurious hotel. The palace is walkable from the hotel. You need a taxi to get to the Medina but taxis in Fez are so cheap it doesn't even matter. I think our taxi ride to and from the Medina was about $3 round trip.
