This was a very special stay during an OAT trip at the end of March. It is a very typical old Moroccan home that previous reviewers state was built 600 years ago. The home has belonged to the current family for 73 years. The owner, Rashi and his family members who work there, including Fatima and Asiz, were warm, welcoming... More

Stayed at this Riad for 2 nights as part of an OAT trip in late March 2014. The "family" operated hotel is "The Real Morocco" experience. Sure some improvements could be made, like more hooks to hang a towel or jacket, a night light for the bathroom, but those are minor. Family staff is very friendly and go out of... More

This was an awesome Riad, comfy and beautifully designed. The staff typically Moroccan, hardworking and helpful. The bathroom lacked some commodities, but all else was perfect. Located directly across from a school, the children in their daily routine and a mosque, you hear a call for prayer. Very peaceful and culturally engaging .

We had been staying in a not-so-spectacular, albeit 'historic', hotel in Rabat, and decided to extend a Fes day trip to spend a night in a traditional riad. There was a mistake in booking for our original destination, but the innkeepers there suggested this neighboring riad upon our late evening arrival. We were welcomed by smiling faces, a great meal,... More

We stayed in this Riad our first night in Fes. After gaining the train in Cassablanca we emailed ahead at a wi-fi hot spot and asked the riad to send a driver to meet us. We were out of a wi-fi zone pretty fast so were so very thankful when we arrived at the train station to find our taxi... More

The Riad Dar Dmana is located right in the medina conveniently located to taxis. The family that runs the Riad are wonderful. The food was very good and the rooms while not luxurious were very comfortable and unique. Seems that each room is slightly different due to the configuration of the house.

This was our third riad in Morocco - by far the biggest. Quite spectacular and beautiful. Typical Moorish architecture and features. First room we had was fine but TV didn't work. Moved us to far superior 'suite' - think it was the most expensive. Very spacious and comfortable with small dressing area and amazing bath room. Only complaint was very... More

As stated in one of the reviews, this is a guest house converted from a large family home built about 600 years ago. It is beautiful and was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful ... Aziz was especially helpful with the luggage. As for the meals, they were excellent. Fatima was the chef during our stay and... More

The Riad Dar Dmana is a guest house converted from a large family home built about 600 years ago. There is a large common court, used for dining. The huge carved wooden doors, the chiseled plaster work around the doors, the painted tiles, the richly embroidered cushions let you imagine the court of Sheherezad. Each room has a private bathroom.... More

The last review explains the good rating of this place on Trip Advisor; it can only be because people get cheaper rates if they give good reviews. I stayed in one of the ground floor "suites", a double room with space for a sofa, but not a suite by any stretch of the imagination. The celing light & alcove lights... More
