Riad La Perle de la Medina is a restored old home that is gorgeous. Don't be intimidated by the outside! The Riad is an amazing sight to see inside. After walking a short distance through the Medina to the Riad, you enter a lobby which us quite beautiful. When we first arrived we were warmly greeted and served delicious mint... More

We loved this riad. Our room was amazing – right off the main salon. The bed was firm but not a problem. We did learn at breakfast from other guests that there was a lot of variation in rooms (with some verging on tiny), so we presume there is a variation in cost. However, room “Ifran” was worth the price... More

We stayed two nights here andwas very impressed by the decor. Looks better than some medressas you pay to get in. We got upgraded to the fez room (thank you) which is huge and overlooks the courtyard. We were welcomed with mint tea upon arrival. Very nice and clean bathrooms and bed. Breakfast on the terrace with a view, pretty... More

I traveled to Fes on a study abroad trip in May. We stayed here for 3 days and it really made my time in Fes more enjoyable. The location was away from the medina, but within a short walk. The architecture was really beautiful, there was a large lounge area and fountain on the first level but my favorite part... More

During our two week travel excursion, this was the first traditional Riad in which we stayed. It definitely spoiled us for future Riads. Our room was enormous, with a master bedroom with queen bed plus couch, a large sitting area, and a second smaller bedroom with a single bed. Room to stretch out in luxury! Exquisite architectural details remind you... More

Inside but just barely, thankfully, because the Fes medina is huge, labyrinthine. We were astonished by this place. The room decorations lavish. Only down-side: internet was flaky at best. We were on the first floor and breakfast is a long hike up to the third. Very traditional fare, and very tasty. One more flight up and you're on the roof... More

At the end of March we stayed for three nights in this riad. It is situated at the edge of the medina and not on the inside and it is an ideal starting point for visiting the different parts of Fes. We had a room just below the roof terrace (the best level to stay we think). The riad is... More

This Riad is beautifully decorated from bottom to top. Our guide booked a nice suite which was nicely furnished, clean and large. The staff were excellent and easy to help whenever we needed their help . We highly recommend it if you want to have a good Holiday in Fez.

Other than the fact that this a beautifully decorated and restored Riad, which really transports you to another time, the staff was always willing to make any accommodation to make our stay the best possible. The roof terrace also makes for a perfect spot for breakfast.

By decorating in the traditional way and using antique furniture, this riad really made us feel quite Moroccan. Loved the flowers to greet in the central fountain and the lush fabrics. Add to that huge rooms and modern bathrooms. Also the staff were very helpful when my husband needed some medical attention. They brought a doctor in, translated, and then... More

The mysterious Medina of the city of Fes is a cradle of art and knowledge, an architectural masterpiece holding the heritage of twelve centuries, and it is a place of refinement on all levels.
