The inner courtyard is sublime, and the breakfasts are hearty. However, avoid booking the rooms on the top two floors as they seem not live up to the rest of the suites and larger rooms on the lower levels. We were treated to garish pink and purple bedcovers, unflatteringly lit interiors, lack of views of the courtyard itself from the... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this riad and it is stunning...simply beautiful. The staff are great, you get a warm greeting with mint tea when you first arrive. Our room was on the main floor and we could not have asked for better. The room was large and extremely clean...spotless. The room offered a sleeping area with great beds,... More

You will miss an incredible experience if you do not stay in a riad in the medina in Fes. It is really essential to appreciating Fes culture and hospitality, just as a visit to Fes is essential to understanding Moroccan culture. This is a typical riad in that nearly all rooms face a central, highly decorated courtyard (with a covered... More

This riad is a great combination of everything one might look for in a riad. It is opulently decorated, a real feast for the eyes: multicolored stained glass windows throughout (many of which open to look directly into the inner courtyard), amazing and intricate zellige tiling, impressive beautifully carved wooden doors, and a rich room interior. The inner courtyard/lobby is... More

Riad La Perle de la Medina is a restored old home that is gorgeous. Don't be intimidated by the outside! The Riad is an amazing sight to see inside. After walking a short distance through the Medina to the Riad, you enter a lobby which us quite beautiful. When we first arrived we were warmly greeted and served delicious mint... More

We loved this riad. Our room was amazing – right off the main salon. The bed was firm but not a problem. We did learn at breakfast from other guests that there was a lot of variation in rooms (with some verging on tiny), so we presume there is a variation in cost. However, room “Ifran” was worth the price... More

We stayed two nights here andwas very impressed by the decor. Looks better than some medressas you pay to get in. We got upgraded to the fez room (thank you) which is huge and overlooks the courtyard. We were welcomed with mint tea upon arrival. Very nice and clean bathrooms and bed. Breakfast on the terrace with a view, pretty... More

I traveled to Fes on a study abroad trip in May. We stayed here for 3 days and it really made my time in Fes more enjoyable. The location was away from the medina, but within a short walk. The architecture was really beautiful, there was a large lounge area and fountain on the first level but my favorite part... More

During our two week travel excursion, this was the first traditional Riad in which we stayed. It definitely spoiled us for future Riads. Our room was enormous, with a master bedroom with queen bed plus couch, a large sitting area, and a second smaller bedroom with a single bed. Room to stretch out in luxury! Exquisite architectural details remind you... More
